Hi Gregor. Finishing up my month in Italy now with 4 days in Venice, staying in the Rialto district. Another great video. Thanks! One suggestion, though, is to add captions to the screen for place names and other unfamiliar Italian words, such as foods and drinks mentioned. That would be a big help to us viewers, I think. Looking forward to your upcoming videos. By the way, I've lost count of the number of times I've said to my travel companion, "Gregor says..." 😊
@BruceM8 oh, that is a good idea. And I wish I'd thought about that before posting this video but it was done also while traveling through China so I could not give it a lot of attention.
Just returned from 2 weeks in Sicily last night on a tour with Overseas Adventure Travel and here I am watching Italy travel videos. It was fantastic, truly, VERY well put together, but I also wanted to go off with a car on my own and see these types of places. Guessing you have a video about driving in Italy (which I did when I lived near Rome decades ago)? Thanks for your great videos. Husband and I always enjoy them. Ciao!
When you showed Matera, and especially when you mentioned movies, I instantly said, I remember them running and driving through that town in No Time to Die. It looks beautiful

It is, yes.. since the early 90s.. and in 2019 it was also declared a European Capital of Culture, all of which has attracted even more tourists to the magical "Sassi" :)
YOU NAME IT, ITALY GOT IT... I do not think there is another country in the world that can match it even by fraction... Dont get me wrong every country is unique and desreves attention, but there is Italia and the rest
Yes, totally agree. There are many beautiful places all over the Europe... But Italy has it all: a little bit of France, a little bit of Greece, a little bit of Austria and Switzerland, a little bit of Arabia, a little bit of Spain..plus a lot of unique Italian beauty and culture that You won't find anywhere. Once You get to Italy, You don't need to travel abroad, You'll find such a great amount of diversity there, it is just mind blowing! No wonder Italians are so proud, I would be too. If only they have learnt how to drive and put some pavements out there....;-p it would be heaven on earth;-).
Had to mention Tropea!! We went there first week of September, was gloriously hot and amazing place for a few days chilling, beach days or relaxing in town, 💚🤍❤️
Thank you for the video your channel will be a lot better if you did a couple of things one is to create chapters that are labeled with the spelling of the city you're talking about. Also show a map before each chapter of the location you are tlabout to talk about. That will gibmve us tike to write it down and not have to rewind frequently. Thanks again.
been to trevi 10y ago. it is actually and old roman town founded around C.E. Magical place and it is unknown. Hopefully not many people watching your channel :D Matera not so unknown since 007. Ostuni is really a gem. Again you ruined it :D Lerici is unfortunately already too known. Were there 2 years ago and could find parking for over 2 hours and we just left. Couldnt even park in the paid parking lots..no space at all.

Local places doesn't appeal much...i would prefer sticking to touristy places only...locals won't hate you...
