    weakness in my right hand and pins and needles. i know its a pinched nerve. thought it was coming from my back right shoulder. well yes and no. last watching this video i found that it indeed was the scm muscle that was most agrivated in this one. I am so happy and grateful for this videos explanation and demonstration because i woke up this morning for the first time not being woken up sore stiff, and numb in the arm. i not only did the stretches the night before, but pressed on the active trigger points and massaged them with tcm emu oil formula and warm sesame oil. together with a got water bottle over my head and neck area. Yes self empowerment and knowledge of you own body is so important. awareness of what it is or is not happening. i had years of suffering progressively locking up different parts of my body till i cannot move or perform basic tasks. so now i start at the face, head, neck and work my way down slowly unlocking. you cannot sleep well when you have such deep tension and pain in your body. so it becomes a look of degredation and battery draining of the body, mind and emotions. ones own ability to work with your own body must be reclaimed, along with propper sleep and nutrition.
    for years, i went to chiro, physio, you name it.... all the official gov approaved , recognised and endoresed conventional pathways. nothing. x-rays show degeneration and arthritis in places and the attitude is "oh this is aging. no answers, no attempts no resolves, no encouragement. and this started in my early 30s. people this is not normal or right. this is not what our human bodies and experience is naturally all about. it's our lack of knowledge and being hypnotically told that it is that's the problem. after speaking with a tcm massage and accumpuncter person about it, i came home and found this vido. tcm, cranio sacral therapy, triggerpoint therapy, and listening to your own body. that's what it is all about.
    mine went deeper into the clavicle division. oh im so overjoyed. breathighng really breathing. the tighness has been restricting my breath. breath is so important. simple proper deep breathing prevents stress and tenstion build up in the muscles.

    These trigger point videos are so helpful especially when this is confused with trigeminal neuralgia, TMJ, neurological issues, etc. I have eyebrow/eye temple/ear tingling almost feels like swelling, some sort of nerve sensation.

    I've been having serious issues with my left SCM for a few years now. It's what I suspect is causing inner ear discomfort, eye discomfort, pulsatile tinnitus, headaches, and general soreness in that area. This stretch actually seemed to help! I'll definitely be sticking with it and trying consistently. Will update eventually if it helps long term!

    I wonder if the muscle can impact the mastoid process enough to give tinnitus. So, without spasm or irritating the auricular nerve. Or shift the skull enough for the styloid process to pressure something, even if it is not elongated. Weird stuff.

    Hello,
    My pain always starts from Mastoid bone all the way to the lower back of my scalp and end with the back of neck.
    I am C5-C6 & C6- C7 disk bulge, the Drs are saying these bulges have nothing to do with this type of pain.
    It has been over 20 years. I get this pain like 3-4 times a month. Only i take muscle relaxant and pain killers. Still, dont know what my issue is. Can you advise?

  • @peterwright7357

    Dear Neil, thankyou for you instructions; I do have dis=-united left clavicle through many accidents, it has been fractured 4 times. The surgeon I visited said " the only way is taking some bone from my hip and joining this to the clavicle. But it will have to be screwed into position and it will give you some pain, and only last for about 2 years, so if you were a relative of mine I would disregard this operation as it would be no better, I don't have any pain though is has been dis-united for about 40 years, fortunately I don't have any pain, but could this be part of my pain with SCM? can you advise?

    • @Nielasher
      @Nielasher  Рік тому

      Hi Peter,
      It could be one of the factors causing SCM pain, but it is impossible to say that it is. It is not unreasonable to theorise that a compromised shoulder girdle of which the clavicle is part, maybe a cause of SCM pain may. The only REAL JOINT not muscles that attaches the arm and shoulder to the axial skeleton is at the Sterno Clavicular Joint so a compromised Clavicle may well involve the various muscles working less than optimally. Please note I wrote "Joint" not muscular attachments.
