You should note that this only works on Samsung TV’s that have built in Airplay, as older models don’t have this and the settings are different

@@jameskelly3043 Its really infuriating with some of the decisions Samsung makes with the TVs. I have a 43" 6 Series just like this youtuber has. Mine is MU6300. I'm about to call Samsung and rip them a new one. This is ridiculous. They REALLY wont keep a 5 year old tv model up to date like the 2018-present models?
Idk if they realize this, but most ordinary humans dont just buy a new tv every other year like some people do with cell phones. I bought a Samsung Smart tv with the understanding that they offer great maintenance and upgradability with regular updates.
A TV is supposed to last most people 10+ years. This is pissing me tf off!!!! I want to be able to cast my iphone to my tv!!!

*Try* this worked for me (I didn’t have the airplay setting whatsoever) open the apps on your tv and look up airplay. Download it and click open. Turn off TV and then open the settings one more time and it should be there.

Hi there, thanks for this information. Works great on series 7 tv. However, what to do for my series 5 tv? I tried the Samsung mirror app but there is a time delay and the quality is not good. Appreciate the help!

I do not see that option in the general setting in my tv I have everything right I just don’t see that iPhone what ever option. I saw what u responded to somebody else who said the same thing as me, you said see if you have to update your tv and I watched that video and I didn’t have no updates. Thank you I’m just wondering if there’s another way where I can get that option so I can mirror
Same there is no air screen option
I am pretty sure this works on TVs 2018 and above. Perhaps your TV is older than that? Another option would be to just get a new cheap Roku stick and do the same thing to that instead of the TV. I made a video with those instructions.

The Samsung TV has to be 2018, 2019,2020, etc to work with AIR PLAY otherwise it won’t work...

Same, this is ridiculous. They should be refunding us customers who purchased a Samsung in 2016-2018 or support our models with their updates. I remember trying to get the new smart tv update back in like 2019/2020 only to find that the updates are no longer supported on my model.
How tf do they think they can just stop providing residual service and patches to customers with 2-3 year old models?

Get all the way to literally the last step, where the tv asks me to enter a 4 digit airplay passcode. The problem is when it’s time to enter that pin into the iPhone, it’s not allowing me to enter any digits... the keyboard doesn’t pop up and the phone is essentially stuck. Please help
