Perfect ! Thank you... I had to delete my Samsung TV from my SmartThings app and re-add it (originally added it last year, but never really used the app)... I wanted to connect my iphone to my Samsung TV to view the high school state championship game this evening that is suppose to be live streamed from the Spectrum News 1 app... looks like I can finally watch one of our home team games... go Chardon Hilltoppers !

I am able to mirror and use AirPlay with my new Samsung TV, but can’t do a FaceTime time call where the other person appears on my TV instead of my phone. Is it positive to do that?

Try doing a hard show down on your phone and do it again. Sometimes that fixes it.

I believe we have the exactly same model we do have the same remote ! Mine is 6 series 43 uhd 2017 ... same settings , I do not have apple settings though. Which year is yours ... can I update it some way other than the obvious one... ? I haven’t had an update for at 2 years ... tried but nothing comes on!

i went through all the steps, i have a 6 series, iphone 8plus, and my music has played sometimes on my tv. but most of the time i always get an “unable to play” not sure why??
