Infinite water hack (no cauldron needed) - make a “full block” of flowing water and bone meal it to create a source block. The trick is to make sure that the water is flowing down into a space (the same way you’d set up a basic cobble gen) 😊

A bottom-half slab under the section of the ruin you are excavating would accomplish two things.
1. It would keep you alive when the gravel falls, and
2. It would keep the gravel from being lost to the void…
I have played minecraft for years, but have never heard anybody hyping over a cauldron. Oh, you never fail to put a smile on my face, Python.n
The amount of rain (and thunder) you had in the beginning, yet now when you have a cauldron, not a single drop.
Loving the progress though. How about the straight and diagonal paths lead to other circles forming a large circle of circles around the center circle... 🤔

Bone meal water in a 2x2 or a 2x1 tall water source. Infinite water! No cauldron needed!
I love the video but a massive part of me wishes you would have done this in a normal survival setting, ill miss this series to much if it comes to a drastic end 😢. Love the channel brother best of luck and well wishes!!!!!

Python, if you can find beetroot seeds at all, that would be the ideal crop for pigs and chickens; surplus seeds for your hens and the tubers for the hogs. Beetroot soup is pretty trash, yeah, but the crop itself is good for bacon, eggs and chicken! If your tiaga-in-the-sky spawns in a village, you might be able to find some, spawned in chests or in a farm plot.

Put a boat in your hotbar incase you fall so you have a chance of putting it on the side and sitting in it, even if your not great at clutching, worth a shot

If you got even a single bit of drip stone, that'd get you your second water source easily allowing infinite

I paused the video and was just about to comment the same. He's got the two skelly bones. In fact, in an earlier episode, I was going to suggest he make a composter and then use the bone meal trick.
If it was me. I would have kept the suspicion gravel to brush when/if you had a chance

Btw, its mostly stairs you loose out on without a stone cutter. You still get the same amount of slabs, just cant choose how many, you have to craft 6 at a time.

I think I would try to move the passive mob area and see if it’s possible to find an area without a slime chunk, since the grass hasn’t spread to it yet. I think it’s going to get annoying.

In the past you have tried hardcore series, each time ending them with the reaction that you do not wish to continew as you feel like building a base is just a waste because of the high risk. Are you worried this is going to happen again, or more going at it from a challange point of vieuw "lets see what all can be accomplished"?
I love to watch your vids and worry you might be burning yourself out again with this.

Hey python, after u said u quit terraria, I’ve been bored out of my mind with these videos. These just aren’t entertaining imo and I think viewership shows that.
To be fair, dude, everyone has different tastes. I love these for example. Just watch the series you enjoy and skip the ones you don't.
