- You never know what is going to happen here day to day, and we try hard to do good things and inspire people. We managed to get Kenny's Camaro dropped off at Lucore Monday evening. But Tuesday morning everything went to hell in a handbasket for us as someone STOLE MY DUALLY from my driveway in BROAD DAY LIGHT! After reporting it to the authorities, I posted pics on Facebook of the truck and tips and sightings started coming in quickly. We found the truck, AND the guy who STOLE IT!

Ok, that does not excuse the thieving scum to steal the truck.
But the level of lazy arze stupidity leaving the keys in it? Had they been in the old mans pocket then the likelyhood of it remaining in the driveway would have increased by 99,98% at a minimum! But happy to see it got back so quick it might make it to the event that ol man mentioned, hoping nothing in the driveline got damaged! Guess the chance the thief will pay for the damage he did on the truck is slim to none.

I sadly have some experience with thieves who broke into our home when I was away getting radiation treatments and my wife had gone to her step Dad's funeral. So glad that Jeremy was able to assist in catching this scumbag and glad that you got the dually and trailer in particular back. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. That's the thing with home invasions. People will scope out your house for weeks learning your patterns of when you come and go, before they break in. Whoever broke into your house knew you and your wifes patterns when you leave to places, but i find it odd how they broke into your home when your wife went to her step dads funeral. It was almost like they knew you would be gone for your treatment and she would be gone attending a funeral. Alot of home invasions occur by either people you know or people that you know who associate with other people.
@@RhinoXpress opituarys list names and dates for funerals, theifs just have to read the where and when. My cousin was killed last Sunday here in New England, the wake and funeral is tomorrow. We will have family staying in the house on duty to make sure nothing like that happens. It's a God damn sad world! Everyone who reads this, have someone in your house when obituaries are posted in News papers, when you go to a funeral.
That pissed me off too Bill. Sorry to hear that happened. Glad the guy was arrested and let's hope today's judicial system actually deals with that problem.

I'm so relieved this wasn't "UA-cam related". We love that you share your families lives with us and I for one would not want anything to jeopardize what you share with us. That being said glad you got everything back and fixing it up will be some good content.

Ive been in law enforcement for years and I can honestly say that calling family/friends in the area first is not a bad idea. It would take law enforcement a little time to determine what department would be handling the call, and unless there are units in the immediate area, they are only going to send one unit out to take the report since its a non violent offense. When you call family first, its only going to be a few minutes before there are multiple vehicles on the road looking for the fool. As my mother would say..... That boy is some special kind of idiot!
My brother and I are in Corrections, he's county and im state. Right now Silverado's/Sierras are getting stolen a lot. And I own a Silverado and a Sierra so I have hidden switches to disable them. Auto theft along with everything else is out of control right now, especially in a liberal paradise like the state i live and work in. Just remember everyone, YOU are your own first responder. Be safe🇺🇲

When I bought my truck. I was in the middle of buying my first home. It was going to be, get a loan for a truck, or get a loan for a home. So my mother loaned me the money for my truck.
When it was stolen. I broke down. She had been dead for 3 years almost and this big connection to her was taken from me.
Not to mention the fact that I loved my truck and put countless hours and dollars into it.
When I finally got it back, the damage was pretty bad. She's not all the same color now, but she's in one piece and operates perfectly. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford to paint it again.
I'm just glad I have it back.

I’m glad to see you were able to get your truck and dads trailer back, even if it does have some battle wounds now. Those can always be fixed. Might even be time to consider getting something newer like what Billy got for towing with even. Just throwing that out there. Keep the old girl for the light work and running around, but something newer and more powerful for the heavy loads and longer trips.

I’m glad you got everything back, and relatively in one piece. You really need to start locking the doors and not leave keys in your vehicles (at least that’s what I gathered from watching). Get some security cameras too.. that sure helps in these crappy situations.

Glad you got everything back! I’m case you don’t know make sure your very careful when you do those rockers/ cab corners!!! That foam inside there is extremely flammable!! I took the interior out of mine and cleaned it out the best I could and then stuffed fiberglass blankets from harbor freight in them when welding

You will have a police report, you have video proof, and the thief has been arrested, you have everything you need for the insurance claim except a few estimates and if doing the work in your own shop, you should be able to get it adjusted poste haste.
Just do the disassembly there, take everything apart keeping track of disassembly labor hrs, separate out the damaged pcs from the undamaged, price out at cost what the replacement parts cost you as you locate them, double up the removal labor to come up with the R & R labor total, then add in any other body and paint costs,etc.
Any adjuster in their right mind can probably cut you a check within a week or 2, and you get the youtube content as a bonus, and Kenny and Jeremy get the labor, sink in a little more to get the other stuff you wanted done at the same time that was not related to the theft damage, and make the best of a really bad situation, by making lemonade from lemons.
Sry to see bad things happen to good people Bill, but in 2022, never make it easy for the druggies in our sick society old schooler, keys in pocket or in the house with you, never in the ignition, even on your own land, as they have zero respect for themselves, so even less for us.
