- One of Resident Evil's toughest challenges is beating Resident Evil 4 Remake on the Professional difficulty. I decided to take it one step further however, and try to beat the game without taking ANY damage, and without saving a SINGLE time!

@@uhTrance An idea I have you can use in your next challenge to make things more fair for yourself is the Deadly Headshots mod for the main story, Separate Ways, and Mercenaries Mode, making it so one headshot instantly kills an enemy/does major damage to bosses even on Professional Difficulty.
hey, in the maze/garden section in the castle, you should just let ashley get grabbed by the ganados and hide in the first tower (the one closest to the exit); the ganados need to walk past you to kidnap her so you can just drop down to save her. zero damage taken, zero bullets spent. great run though! just thought this was a strategy you might want to consider using for future challenge runs bcus it's really useful and i've never seen anyone do it before.

Also you can run to the castle door, wait there and throw a flash grenade in her direction through the window then you immediately enter the door and she will spawn behind you

@@uhTrance absolutely man, it’s even better for me, who knows what songs go to what boss, feeling that sense of urgency or excitement based on the music made for an amazingly entertaining video
Leon Kennedy or should that be Vasily Zaitsev! Very simple but clever strategies for taking no damage. 90% of the enemies are headshotted from distance, anything that comes close is blasted by the shotgun. The rapid firing TMP is used at medium range and to finish off enemies who need light damage to kill them, while the low damage and slow firing handgun is avoided altogether (which also saves Attaché Case space). Any high damage enemies or bosses are taken out by heavy grenades or the rocket launcher to kill them instantly. Fantastic play through, following these strategies will make Professional difficulty much easier!

In chapter 4 you can go back and loot the fishing village without any enemies in there.
Oh I MEGA know, hence I ran past everything in the initial visit to the fishing village!

it deserves like very hard challenge but the elden ring and hornet from hollow knight music is so good
The amount of patience you've had in doing this challenge is commendable. I can't get used to the idea of what it must be like to repeat it so many times and fail in an advanced state of the run.
Failing late wasn't really the issue for me, it was the grinding out of the beginning parts of the run, only to lose it to something stupid or something I've never seen before
@@uhTrance It makes sense. All the treasures you need to get and the Merchant's requests you need to do in order to get enough money to buy and upgrade your weapons. It must feel repetitive.
Such a great challenge and super happy for you that you got it done! Huge congrats mate.
Btw.: Any reason you didn't get the scratched emerald from the birds nest outside the merchant next to the little fish pond with the fountain after waterhall? Also there is a beetle on the far left wall behind the fountain that sells for 10k$.
Maybe something for future runs if you come back to this game.

another hardcoore- you only can use knifes and greneades (including heavy Greanades and Flash greanades) and also in professional mode and still try to get an S+ not S this time S+ so carry more greneades and upgrade knifes.And you cant take single amount of Damge no NG+ items no Accesories no benefits only normal Leon

its really easy you do the same until you pull the lever then you go down let the Cowman walk into the IED and knife him once or shoot him twice and you got him dead and got a rubie thingy

How did that happen?
A hit is not equal to damage in some cases, usually staggers that come from enemies that aren't attacks
I'm curious how many times you have to play a game to get to the point of completing a challenge like this. Nothing seems left to chance. You use very specific strats. Specific weapons at specific moments. Sell specific items. Etc. None of this is random, winging it on your part. It must take a huge amount of hours to get to this stage. I don't care how incredible a game may be, I'd be so sick of it by then I'd never want to see it again. 🤣

How on earth do you get so much ammo? It's shocking.
It looks like every single fight is being cleared with rifle and or grenades with the other weapons just serving as cleanup.
Yeah I could clear a room by blowing 10-20 rifle rounds, but that would pretty much be it for using it that chapter.
Some of it is luck, but it mostly comes down to resource management and always using things in the same areas
i always love how the title says just beating a certain game without taking damage yet u still go for the extra limit to play on the hardest difficulty with no saving and other extra advantages, it really proves your dedication to push the limit on every challenge and to take as less shortcuts as possible.
Yea guys like carcinogen always do it segmented. Which is fine but no challenge just a cool way to show strats.

Never played RE4, and I like to watch Souls challenge runs only, but I'm very glad UA-cam recommended me your video. Very fun, very entertaining. Thank you, sir!
If you like old school games I'd recommend the original re4 but if you like nice modern games then I'd recommend re4r. Re4 is prob one of the least scary re games but if you like scary id recommend re7 or re8 but if you wanna play any of those id recommend you play re7 for some lore about re8 since the two stories are connected. If you wanna know about Leon's backstory I'd recommend you play re2r then re4r. Hope you find this helpful.😊

How many attempts did this take? Also thanks for saving the good boy . I get that he resets el gigante’s health but i can’t leave him there. That was a good compromise.
I mentioned some run statistics at the end of the video, but about 120 attempts and 7 weeks of playing!

I did a similar run (no damage 100% acc s+ but with saves) on my channel so I know the struggles m8. The way you b0ssed the ballroom and double garradores and That CLUTCH parry in the Krauser section. You might just be the G.O.A.T

During my no damage run I managed to get to Krauser twice, believe me it’s definitely up there with the most frustrating experiences. Never tried since then. Sold my Xbox too. Glad I have finally seen someone complete it ❤🎉

You redefine what it means to be a madlad.
There needs to be a category for this game called Acceptable Damage Only Run.
The reason being is that the rng is too random in this game. Some examples of acceptable damage would be getting grabbed and then knifing the enemy off of you, getting grabbed from behind, getting punched. Things like that where Leon could, in theory, survive them in real life. But if you take unacceptable damage, then that's when you have to start over. Getting an axe thrown at you would be an example of unacceptable damage.

Don't know if anybody else has commented this but when you cleaned up the loot from the chainsaw ladies you picked up an attachable mine. Maybe one of the mines was misplaced or they had invincibility frames so it didn't go off? 24:28
