Modric is the new Captain of the team so I’m sure he’ll be starting, which is why I kinda feel bad for Rodrygo. I want him to start but I’m sure Valverde and Tchouameni will start in midfield also.
It might be a situation like Marcelo. Marcelo was the captain but didn’t start all the time. If Modric isn’t starting I believe it’s Carvajal who would be the on field captain. I could see Modric starting in the diamond midfield playing Kroos old position. I want to see the 433 though and how it works first. I think we’ll see both formations a lot this year. I think you’re right the likelihood of that is probably slim. Depends what the score is and what the fitness level is of probably Mbappe more so with his nose and being his first action. It is a shame because Brahim and GÜLER have been class!
We will miss Joselu with Arda-Guler set piece crosses into the box, I prefer we start with the 4-4-2 formation, Vini and Rodri upfront, then Mbappe should come in as a sub, or Vini and Mbappe upfront then the midfielders - Tchou, Valverde, Modric/Camavinga and Jude, then Rodri, Guler, and Brahim comes in as a sub... I go for Score 3-1, Real Madrid winning... Hala Madrid

I have been saying this to everyone and on every website that for this team to work Mendy is the key. Real Madrid is going to line up in a 4-3-3 but not like everyone thinks. Mendy is going to play a LB/LM he's not going to run do the left wing because Vini Jr and Mbappe will play together out on the left. Jude is still going to be crashing the box and with more space because one of the CB will have to go out to help with Vini Jr and Mbappe out wide leaving space for late runs by Jude into the box or Rodrygo and Dani cutting in from the right.
I like it! I could for sure see this happening. Mendy is very underrated and under appreciated I think. I’m curious though if Mendy plays higher do you think we’ll be vulnerable more for counter attacks there especially since we know Carvajal likes to get really high up. I worry about leaving Rudiger and Militao basically alone. I think it’s going to be really interesting to see. Where do you think Ardas best position is?
@@DallyFC Arda is a right winger with Valverde covering for him in defence, Brahim for Jude in that LM/LAM. Real Madrid is going to need CM and that is why Mario Martín should have a chance this season.
I haven’t seen a ton from Martin to give me a lot of confidence in him. I think Modric will have a really important role this year. He’ll get a lot of minutes I think.
I for one think that vini, mbappe and rodrygo will click, maybe not right away but they'll be up for the challenge of establishing themselves as a harmonious front three.
Im intrigued to see jude's role being that he will be playing further away from goal, what impact will he have on the team and also arda guler as with guler i think he's way more suited to transit into a cm because based off of the raw eye test he has all the attributes especially offensively to succeed there.
I'm so excited about this season, so many story line's to look forward to.

I agree with you I think those three will work out. I am very intrigued by Rodrigo though. The first couple games of the year its going to be interesting to see how the lineup looks. I could see going back to a 442 with a diamond midfield and Modric or Guler starting. Fascinated to see.
Bellingham will be an interesting watch and I'd agree with Arda too. Maybe you do the diamond formation and you put Arda on the right cm and Valverde on the left cm with Bellingham up top and Tchouameni in CDM. That is a lineup I haven't thought about but maybe!

I don’t know about mbappe though he doesn’t play team football
He’s going to have to leave his ego at the door which I think he’s doing. That’s why he’s wearing 9 and didn’t demand 10 or even 7 when coming here. I think Carlo will demand he plays more team football. At PSG and even France it was kinda all up to him to score. That’s not the case with Vini and Rodrygo. We’ll see I’m excited for it! Do you think Mbappe or Vini will be the better player for the next 5 years?
Anyone who still believes Rodrigo should start ahead of Arda is lacking in football knowledge and shows that you only watched highlights, Rodrigo is a bench player at best and will need to improve hid overall game as of now he is not as good as arda vini or Mbappe. Trust me when I say we madristas are more excited about Arda breaking into the 11 . I think a general football fan still probably rates Rodrygo higher just because he’s a more well established name player. Been with the squad for a while and it’s good in FC 24 lol. I think Rodrygo is quality I just think he’s better at LW and he won’t be able to play that. I want to see more and more Arda Güler I think you’re like me and are heavily invested in the Arda Güler fan club! Hey, u forgot about Alaba as a CB option. Although he has vulnerabilities in his game and is susceptible to injuries, he still has some to offer when he is fit. He is certainly a better option as 3rd choice over Vallejo, imo.
Unfortunately Alaba is still recovering from his ACL injury and apparently he had a set back so he’s not gonna be back until around January I’ve seen. When he’s fit he’s good I rate him. He’s just older now and coming off the ACL we haven’t seen him yet so tough to know how he’ll do exactly. If healthy though he’s way better than Vallejo. 100% agree with you!
@@DallyFCI mean he wasn’t impactful after his debut season. Sure he had a few good game in his second like against Barcelona & first leg vs City. But he’s been very inconsistent since & poor on the air.

I don’t see Rodrigo in the Real on the long run. Excellent player but lacking the required consistency. With Man City ready to spend big €€€ to acquire him, plus Arda and Brahim ready to play in this position, this may be his last season at Real.
I agree with you. I love Rodrygo and don’t want him to go but if a big offer comes in and gives him an opportunity to play LW I think he’d really consider it. I love Arda so I’d like him to get some opportunities there and start this year. Brahim is great as well love his flexibility!

I think with how left sided our attack is, I don't think there's any reason for Mendy to go forward. So it should mainly be a back 3 for us
I 100% agree. That’s why I am a little against Alphonso Davies as an option. I don’t think it’s needed to have your fullback get that far forward and then keep tracking back. Mendy has the pace to do it but I think he’s a lot more defensive minded so he’ll be fine.

I’d agree on the 10 for GÜLER. I think more central would be best for him but I probably prefer Bellingham in that role right now too. I like the two lineups I think we’ll see something like this with different variations this year. So many games it’s important the entire squad is ready to play. I think Modric, GÜLER, Brahim, Camvinga and Vazquez will play a lot off the bench in other games too.

To be honest last year we were very lucky. Barça was very bad and all the games in UCL aginst ManCity and Bayern we were very very lucky. I can not say we were successful. Last week i watched UCL games OMG do not want to see again :)))

I personally would like to wait and see with Rodrygo. I think there’s a chance the 433 works great and everyone is happy but I also see where it’s not working. Either way I don’t think Rodrygo’s value goes down a year from now. I don’t think there really is a market today to sell him for that much. PSG, Man City, Bayern, Man U and Chelsea are the ones who could possibly pay that and that’s a maybe.

I talked about that one before too. I think 4-4-2 is the tough competition formation. The Man City’s, Atletico, Liverpool, Bayern etc. That’s the formation you need to play like you said the defensive cover is there with this especially if Camavinga for Rodrygo. I think that formation could work as well with maybe even GÜLER coming on and playing more central. I think you’re right though and I think over the year we’ll see this one more.

I think he is currently the best player in the world. He’s easily the best LW it’s not even a discussion. He had his best year last year in less games than his previous years. If he’s not not the best player in the world who do you think is? Where would Vini be in your best players in the world rankings?
