Hi Mr. Gonzalez, this is Alberto Perez from DSHS. I had no idea this was your son. I have met you several times and you have been our keynote speaker on a couple of our conferences. I remember you mentioned your son loved old Toyotas!!! Now I see the resemblance! Saludos!
My Dad had a red Toyota pickup just like this growing up. He used to take us out on Duxbury beach (Mass) just like in this video. Seeing a red Toyota pickup on a beach, puts a huge smile on my face. The bed of the trucked ended up rotting off, so my Dad built a wooden bed. That truck had like 275,000 miles on it, before he sold it to our mechanic.
This is awesome!!!! Watching your older videos gave me motivation to build my 3rd gen 4Runner, and I always keep up with your channel, keep it up man this was a sick video!!!
Are y’all planning a beach meet or cleanup anytime soon? I’ve been wanting to head down that way maybe in April, would be cool to meet up with you guys
Hey man no disrespect but metal on ceramic/ Teflon causes Alzheimer’s! Just FYI, would recommend a silicone spatula or something for the nonstick. Also awesome rig, and editing!
@6:00 in the video that is end of Boca Chica beach and that is Rio Grande correct? And across the Rio Grande that is Mexico/Mexican beach on the other side?
Wow. I get it man. Nothing was said and nothing needed to be said. Love the video. Perfect.
Dude well said!! Thank you 🙏
Your best work son. No words needed. It was like admiring a work of art. Proud of you my dear son ☺️

Great video... Very enjoyable .. Good work! PS.-- This makes me miss my Old 87 Toy 4x4 and having locking hubs and a stick for for the xfer case.
Manual trans, manual hubs. Those are the thing I love about my pickup just so old school and mechanical
@@OverlandNomad 100% my Tacoma has the turn dial. Since I have gotten back in to a Toyota 4x4 I miss the Mechanical...
Great visual look to this video👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Nice solo trip 🇨🇷
Very much needed 🙏
It was fucking spectacular!!!!!!!!
Thanks!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
Everything u did was perfect. But use wood utensils to cook.
My lady will kill me if a use metal to the Teflon pan.
So I just learned not to use metal on Teflon after yalls comments, had no idea!
@@OverlandNomad : your video it’s
GR8 carnalito
I love your camper shell ,, where I can buy that ,,,
It’s a Wildernest. You can find them used on Facebook marketplace or Craigslist
Great video. I'm shocked that the sleeping portion of the tent doesn't need support poles. How does that work? Subbed.
Thanks for the support!! It has steel cables on the inside of the camper that can support the overhang
Hey man no disrespect but metal on ceramic/ Teflon causes Alzheimer’s! Just FYI, would recommend a silicone spatula or something for the nonstick. Also awesome rig, and editing!
Dude never heard of that! Will do thank you!
what kind of camera did you use? I like how you added cinematic techniques to your vid. keep up the good work.
Sony a6300 with kit lens, GoPro 8, DJI Mavic Air 2, and a Sony 4K Camcorder👍🏼
@6:00 in the video that is end of Boca Chica beach and that is Rio Grande correct? And across the Rio Grande that is Mexico/Mexican beach on the other side?
Correct!
I need to go there! Boca Chica beach is free, unlike Padre Island National Seashore and South Padre Island.
One of the last free beaches
So peaceful I love to just drive and where ever I end up is where it ends.
Can I pick your brain on the SAS? I'm wanting to do the same on my 92. I'm somewhat local to you.
Sure just dm me on Instagram
Enough said.🤙🏽
😎🤘🏼
Awesome video man! Did you use "fallow me" mode on your drone to film those one shots? I dig it!
Yessir I did👍🏼
@@OverlandNomad Great work man! Your camera work is definitely getting better and better
a.m.z. i loved this video.
Thank you 🙏
“God forgives, rocks dont” 😂 that’s freaking awesome
My man Saeid!!🤘🏼
theres something about the scene at 12:50 thats just beautiful. the sense of community and gathering...
Where is this place
What year is your yota ? Is it a 22re?
94 pickup, 3.slow
Duuuude this intro got me feeling nostalgic for something i ddnt know i was missing 🥲 great work.
Wow thanks for that Vic :,)
✌️....🍻
Is this a long bed?
6ft bed
Possibly the most relaxing video I've seen all year. Anywhere.
Thanks brotha! Now for some cooking with the Tyrux grill at the beach😎
This is a cute video man but definitely not overlanding ha ha. Off-road camping is cool though. The closest you ever got to it was at the rio grande.
I'm pretty down with your rig and your overall trip, but the fork in that non-stick really killed the vibes for me.
Lol dude I had no idea about the fork on metal thing. Now I know!
Dude! A Westy top mated to a Yota topper? Outstanding! Love the vid
Thanks! It’s called a Wildernest camper (The Westy decal was added by me😬)
La cocina no debe estar cerca de la carga de combustible del veiculo
Tienes razon
Don't you get worried about rust from the salt on the beach?
