We had an old 60s unimog we used for forestry. We had a shutdown in Devon one morning in the 90s and parked up near an isolated bungalow. This old guy comes flying out, shouting "Unimog! Unimog!". We got chatting and it turned out he was German and worked in the mercedes factory in the same year building that same model. He'd moved over in the 80s and retired. Weird coincidence, but it was great to see him so happy to see a mog.
1:18 That speedo says you were doing about 85 KM/H, not mile. The Mogs I've seen here are usually out of gears by 80-100kmh, 100kmh with a custom final drive swap.
It’s perfect for British roads-compact enough to navigate easily, with ride height and off-road-capable suspension that can handle the typical British potholes. Well, maybe not all of them, but most!
I SEEN ONE of the freeway here in Australia. A fertiliser spreading contractor. They always have the 4x4 version of trucks and this was a fairly new unimog.
I busted out laughing out loud- when you chucked the bag in the back of the Mog, getting off your new Volvo - dang that - I really was laughing! Glad you did get hurt Scotty!
Watched the vid now 5 or 10 times, still can't stop observing scotty trying not to laugh. I think I change my opinion from Hanomag Robust 900 to same Unimog. It's much faster (80mph) and more universal. And you can get your fam for picnic
i had a unimog U1500 for 20 years and transporting sugar beets, the trailor weighting 30tones and the unimog loaded 10-11tones 1000% bulletproof machine, but for daily shoping i dont now..

Whoever the owner is, those style of rear lights have 0 light output with a weak reflector behind it.(some models of this light have no reflector, only black plastic so you only have the light of the bulb itself), I wouldnt say its dangerous, i know its compliant but its shit. You can buy an actros rear light with 6 functions (6 slotted) which is period correct and oem+ and looks good. Imo
My dad has a 2004 defender. Its a good car, except wind noise and terrible gearing (max speed at 130kmh with 160hp). I think uts like 90-100db at 100kmh 😅
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Yes it is.

- Yes!

Usually 90 km/h is the maximum speed on any Unimog
it was a joke dude
the way it slid out and missed the blanket but you didnt refilm. Unmatched continuity. 100/10 And knowingly calling a Vectra an Astra. 1000/10
I have always wanted a unimog to kit out as a camper , what a beautiful diesel maxhine
