I remember hearing this album from a friend back in ‘84, and being impressed that it didn’t sound like all the typical metal stuff at the time. It’s more raw, and the vocals were unique. It stood out. Cheesy album cover, but the music inside is solid from start to finish. Never knew much about TKO until the age of the internet. The singer was involved in Ze Whiz Kidz in the early 70’s, who opened for the New York Dolls in Seattle back in the day (and also gave the world El Duce of the Mentors). Also, this album was recorded 3 years before it was released, back in 1981. The lineup shown here isn’t the same lineup that recorded the album.
Heard this band when they were featured on Metal Shop (the only show with teeth). Took me a while to find the record and it didn't disappoint. No filler on it. All great songs. Wish they would have made it bigger.
I'm only recently learning this lineup wasn't the one who recorded In Your Face. They looked the coolest but didn't play on the record, which was recorded in 1981... this vid is 1984

TKO's first album ROCKS every song is great. They are one of the best. Brad Sinsel vocals are awesome.

I bought that LP way back in the day on one of those 'Try a New Band' buys, and loved it, I bought the one before it, 'Let it Roll'.

Ken Mary played with Randy Hansen when he offered me chance to be his bassist.
Fuckin' great!!! I had no idea of this video existing before!! And yes, it's Ken Mary on drums, of course!
Knew Brad when he was in the Warbabies.

I think these guys are great every song on this album is killer. I have this on the combat records release.
