You know, it's legitimately nice to see this kind of playthrough without it being a nuzlocke. Like, I get it, the nuzlocke factor gives the videos more suspense. But casual playthroughs like this are fun as well, it's exciting that Pokémon have the same Base Stats but different everything else, opens up whole new play styles.
If I had a nickel for every time I've seen a randomized pokemon game where the first gym had a mewtwo... I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice right? Hey, just a tip for future randomizers! If you want the rivals to choose from and keep the starter pokemon throughout the game, make sure you click the checkbox that says "Rival carries starter throughout game", otherwise it'll also be randomized

Because the point of randomizers are the randomness and the fun you can have with it. Knowing the tipes would eliminate a part of that.
