The Dali iO12s are the absolute best bluetooth headphones on the market. If you want to experience true audiophile quality then these are for you. These are music perfection in bluetooth mode but if you want to bump it up even more, pair these with the Questyle M15 Dac Amp. You will never need another pair or want another pair of headphones in your life. These headphones are made to deliver music to you the way the artist intended for you to hear it. I have the Focal Bathys also and I didn't think anything could beat them. Well I was wrong. These headphones are a true masterpiece. I would say almost addicting. They may sound a little duller than what you would expect at first but after about the first 5 hours of burn in they start to really open up and it only continues to get better. I have about 45 hours on mine and my goodness they are magnificent. When you listen to these it is an EXPERIENCE, not just a listening session. These are medicine for the soul. Everyone needs to experience these because they are truly something else. Best wishes and goodluck putting them down.

      i own the Focal Bathys
I'd like to know the difference between the soundstage, Bathys vs Dali 12.
      Thank you in advance

You can still experience audiophile quality above 300$ to 500 from px7 s2e and beoplay, not as much as IO-12 but still preferable to other headphones in same price range such as momentum 4 and sony xm5.
Not saying Dali 12 are not worth the money, they definitely are if you are a big headphone listener but im more of a speaker listerner and tend to spend more money on it and hifi equipments than headphones so Im fine with owning a pair of headphones that cost a bit less. IO-12 sounds fantastic since i tried out them in store with over an hour or listening but are not something i would spend my money on yet, not with the income I have.

When you review and you have a negative comment.... like "sharp, bright, treble"... you need to put this into context.... as "compared to the Audeze sound" or "similar to the Hifiman Hekse".... and in this way, we know you actually have some experience with Headphones.. .Also, everyone but you seems to know that a wireless headphone always sounds its best when WIRED.. .and you said nothing about this... at all... SO... It could be that the WIIRED sound, is "not as bright or sharp in the Treble" but we can't know, as you didnt listen to them wired apparently....

Lol I do agree with this critique but I think you laid it on a bit thick with the harshness. Especially when its Christmas week, chill out man

Thanks for the review! Took mine back after 3 days since the bass mode caused distortion above 80% volume, and the ANC was quite poor even compared with $80 competitors. I get that Dali wants these used in a quiet environment, but having poor ANC in a 2023 high end wireless headphone is unacceptable to most listeners. In a restaurant, even with ANC on, the restaurant noise still overwhelmed me with the IO-12. I highly recommend the Beoplay H95 instead. Very comfortable headphone that beats the IO-12 in every way. Hope to see Dali improve on the IO-12 with their next release.

Beoplay is V shaped sound, hardly for audiophiles. It's a posh Sony.

@@jordantee2383 no way is Beoplay close even to Bathys or 5909.

@@morespinach9832 The EQ B&O app lets you change EQ as you wish, but I'm guessing you mean the default EQ? Mids can be boosted as much as wished. My biggest (and perhaps only) complaint about the H95 is max volume level being a little low, but this can be bypassed with the volume booster app on Android, not sure about on iOS.
