just ordered my first start kit, the night's watch, and heroes 3 and the builder: scorpion unit box. can't wait for my first game with my group soon!!!!! i watched the first day i went and was immediately hooked just by watching!! it doesn't look overly complicated either. i'd say the hardest part might be just trying to learn what each faction's tactics and commander cards do, so you don't forget what the opponent's actions are all the time. i'm sure players are generally nice about having to repeat their tactics cards info when necessary

According to the war council app ghost cost three points to field now even with Jon Snow as your commander or attatchment. It looks like that for Rob as well. I thought the doggos were supposed to be free when you have the respective attachment/commander in your build? Doggo nerf?
Yes, new rules for 2021. "Free" activations kind of got out of hand so they made changes to the doggos. You gotta pay 3 points for them but they're much stronger now.

you should get into it. it's pretty awesome and all the miniatures are very detailed and paintable to be unique

Best to run more activations for nights watch, that really hurt you in this game, ncus are just such a good spend for their points costs

Why not just start as a block of trays in the middle? Seems like most games go that way.

Yeah I believe this changed for 1.7 but it may have been earlier.
