While there’s many watches that interest me, I could live either a small collection like this. Some would suggest a digital plastic watch for a casual “beater.” I dislike digital watches. Can you please elaborate on why automatic watches should be used carefully? I have around 20 watches, all automatic, all from micro brands housing either a Seiko (NH35/36/38) or a Miyota (9015/9039) movement. All of them sport sapphire crystals. Anything I need to be mindful of?
Good question, bhai. In your case, you don’t need to worry about anything apart from servicing the watch if you feel it’s not performing well. For context, I mentioned being mindful with my Seiko because mine isn’t a sports watch. I used to wear it while cycling and sweating profusely. Since mine is a non-sapphire variant with 50m water resistance, I felt it was better to stop doing that and use other, more rugged watches instead. At the end of the day, the last thing you want is to feel worried instead of joyful when you wear a watch! btw what's on your wrist today? 😃

Good question man! duro has an aluminium bezel so yes its prone to scratches, but the bezel can be easily replaced, many options available on alixp, regarding chipping and peeling off? i don’t think so it will happen, dents and scratches ho sakte h heavy blows pe

Haha, yes! I think as a good rule of thumb, going for watches with robust exterior materials matters more in the long term (for quartz watches) since you can easily repair or replace the movement later at a fraction of the cost. It adds to the shelf life! 😄, What's your go to piece?

Good question! on paper toh 100m water resistance hai, but since iska screw down crown nahi h duro jaisa, paani andar jaane k chances increased water pressure me thode zyada hai, ye water accidents k liye theek hai, baarish k liye theek h, but i personally will not wear this for swimming

Good question, bhai. In your case, you don’t need to worry about anything apart from servicing the watch if you feel it’s not performing well. For context, I mentioned being mindful with my Seiko because mine isn’t a sports watch. I used to wear it while cycling and sweating profusely. Since mine is a non-sapphire variant with 50m water resistance, I felt it was better to stop doing that and use other, more rugged watches instead. At the end of the day, the last thing you want is to feel worried instead of joyful when you wear a watch! btw what's on your wrist today? 😃

Good question man! duro has an aluminium bezel so yes its prone to scratches, but the bezel can be easily replaced, many options available on alixp, regarding chipping and peeling off? i don’t think so it will happen, dents and scratches ho sakte h heavy blows pe

Haha, yes! I think as a good rule of thumb, going for watches with robust exterior materials matters more in the long term (for quartz watches) since you can easily repair or replace the movement later at a fraction of the cost. It adds to the shelf life! 😄, What's your go to piece?

Good question! on paper toh 100m water resistance hai, but since iska screw down crown nahi h duro jaisa, paani andar jaane k chances increased water pressure me thode zyada hai, ye water accidents k liye theek hai, baarish k liye theek h, but i personally will not wear this for swimming

The only downside is that pointed objects hitting it can cause it to break, whereas mineral glass performs better on impact but is not as scratch-resistant as sapphire. feel free to add anything if i’ve missed 😁
