How to Reset The Chevrolet Traverse Engine Oil Life System:
To reset the oil life light
1. Display REMAINING OIL LIFE on the DIC menu.
2. Press and hold V for several seconds while the Oil Life display is active to reset the Oil Life system.
3. REMAINING OIL LIFE 100% will be displayed when the oil life system has been reset.
You should reset the oil life light system whenever the engine oil is changed so that the system can properly calculate the oil life until next engine oil change.
