I'm a big fan, Anthony. I like how you're sitting at the table just telling stories about what you saw and did in the streets. It's like dropping in on an old friend and reminiscing about life. Your old man being who he was gave you a front row seat to a show that a lot of made guys couldn't get a ticket to. Your stories aren't in the back issues of Time, Newsweek, the NY Times, or any of the hundreds of documentaries on LCN. I been here when you had less than 5K subscribers. Some hit hard and fast, but slow and steady has longevity.

Congrats. I have been clean 20 years this coming August. Well, I have to actually say September... I slid back for a day or two, when I was so miserable I couldn't take it. It didn't help, just made it worse. Either way .. congrats. It isn't easy, and everyday we are clean, is another day we conquered. One moment at a time. That's how I do it. Started a small farm in Northern Maine... Haven't looked back. Congrats again. It's a hell of an achievement.

in new york, i was just another big, fat blowhard with a big mouth who is all bark and no bite. in nearly all of the rest of america, i'm a terror. these people are just completely unprepared for us

And although I never really cared much for the big cities I've got to say New York was the most awesome place I've ever been. I've been all over the world to a dozen or more foreign countries just had never gone North within the US. I was blown away by not only the city but with the people within it. I ♥️N.Y

Thank you for sharing your story, and experiences, in life. Thank you for talking about addiction, and how it doesn't discriminate.
I do, however, disagree with New York being great. It has its nice points but, I prefer Northern Maine.... Anywhere that isn't a big city. My little farm, in the middle of nowhere. It's nice. No cars, no people, no crime, no problem. Maybe you should visit. Something to be said for quiet life.

After watching Sammie’s podcasts which are excellent I will say . I’ve really seen that he is a master manipulator. Absolute master . I believe what John says on the apartment tapes is legit . Sammy killed DB because they owned a huge business together and he wanted em out . And there are a few things like that in Sammie’s podcasts where you see John was right but Sammy twists it every time like he is the righteous one come’on . I’d personally respect Sammy more if he just said Yeah , I killed DB and I was running wild on the street doing hits and putting money out getting ready to take power from John and hit em myself ! and so what I was gangster fk you ! If he would just be straight up like that then I’d respect . But no he justifies every action and decision he made back then 🤦🏻Also Mikey scares does a good job of showing johns side of things about back then on his podcast it be interesting to see you on there or vice/versa. Sammy don’t want no one smart on his podcast or that was in the mix then . Only jimmy calandra his biggest fan lol

I believe it was a government agent who shot Colombo. If it was a mafia hit some truthful gossip would have come out many years later.
Eyetalians were considered the blacks of europe back then. My great grandfather was 15yrs old in 1901 in Philadelphia, he was considered a dark skinned foriegner back then; 1950s in north america my grandparents were considered dark skinned even then; my parents in the 60s & 70s were considered foriegners and wops; I am considered a 3rd generation eyetalian american and I stilll get prejudiced and called a N word of europe. WASPs didn't like eyetalians at all since the 1900s, government officials were worse, ex: Winston Churchill, Edgar Hoover, John F Kennedy's brothers, and others. Eyetalians were not allowed to work in government jobs or the police force.
So YES ! it had to be a government sanctioned hit.

American eyetalians always butcher the eyetalian language like this - Gabeesh gabigool, and cu fu tu. Sheesh.

I get what your saying about Sammy he wouldn't have been Sammy and I say this with respect yu wouldn't have been who you were without yoir father nor would Michael. If Sammy tells it real he was a big earner as well owning multiple businesses running construction ectyes John thrust him into the limelight but most that were close to John were Sammy being underboss put him front and centre with John. But that's juat my opinion on it.
