Hugs to you, Anthony. I'm 33 years sober in Florida and bravo for helping other alcoholics and users. You made a decision to save your life twice and those were brave decisions. You did good, Anthony. Never forget that.
I’ve been a consumer of “mob tube” for some time now and I have to say out of all of the old gangsters on UA-cam you are without a doubt the most believable, humble and entertaining of them all. Please keep up the videos because true fans, like I, love them. Thank you for everything Anthony, keep it up!
Mr. Ruggiano, I am a CASAC, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate you putting a number out and offering to help individuals with SUD’s. I won’t ramble on other than to say thank you.
Anthony you got a great show because you are who you are, no B.S., no pretend, love all your stories. When I was a little kid in Washington Heights, we used to play tag behind the buildings we lived in, sometimes a guy would come and whistle up to the windows and people would send knives down in a bucket so he could sharpen them, then another guy would come and sing opera, and people would throw money out their windows to him. And egg creams, oh my God, I can taste them right now. NYC was the best ! It’s a little down now, bit it will be back, always, thank you.
I cried tears of joy remembering my Mom bringing me to Woolworth after shopping for clothes on Orchard St ... Grilled cheese, Bonton chips and and egg cream... If I was lucky a ride on the horse .. Growing up in Williamsburg, we had the Fuller Brush man, tap seltzer/syrup deliveries, the knife sharpening truck...God I miss those days... My father's name was Mickey and his brother Buster... So I've heard many of the names and places you talk about my entire life... I miss them so much.. Thank you for sharing

Thanks Mr. Ruggiano. You're doing a good service. It makes me feel good that you're helping people get better. I saw that picture of you with your pops and I just had to laugh. They don't make 'em like that anymore. Brought back memories of people and places.

Anthony, the first 5-6 minutes of the video about the egg creams and Woolworths brought back so many memories for me about growing up in Brooklyn and Ozone Park. Thanks.
Love your show Anthony you are so right when you say about the ones who talk have never done a day in prison plus your the only one who didn’t flip more power to you my friend. Paddy from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
The only mob guy who I feel genuinely wanted to change his life. You know we come with mob stuff but you make sure to temper it with positivity. I was born in 2000 and enjoy hearing the childhood stories. Different world from what I grew up with.
I miss the good ol days. I’m a little younger than you but it was so much better to grow up years ago. Neighborhoods were closer knit, safer and you actually left your house to see people. All the good retail stores are dead and now you just order Chinese crap off Amazon. I feel for my kids who will never know any different.
Your my favorite mob youtube content creator Anthony, as a person myself with addiction issues I respect the way you have faced adversity and come through as a better person. Its easy recognize authenticity when you see it

Wow.. I was born in 1979 and remember the cream on the inside of the foil top on the glass milk bottle and I remember Woolworths and the little rides outside shops.. 😂 The good old days 70"s and 80"s all day long I miss them.

An Egg cream drink was the best and the second was a Lime ricky. Anthony I always tune in to your channel to reminisce. Brooklyn was the best back in the day. 👍👍

I’m only 46 but there was a 5 and dime on my grandfathers street. My grandfather called it five and tenies he would take me there every time I went to his house. All I ever wanted was toy guns from there. I miss those days. In the old country he was a banker came here and couldn’t speak English. He worked in factories rolling carpets and stuff like that. Along with other things. Not on a level like your father but you know what I mean
Wow Ant. We had a Wollworths down the street when I was a little kid. My Grandmother used to walk me down there and they had balloons blown up and inside was a price tag from 1 cent up to 1 dollar. You picked a balloon and you got a banana split for the price inside the balloon. Twice I got one for a penny!!!! Good memories Brother!!!!!
Anthony I appreciate your time and story . I'm from eny I went with my mother to the 5 and 10 on city line remember they had pets inside like birds . I miss them days
Amazing! I was there the night they were killed. I was playing Pac-Man. I was 18 years old. It was Country Western night. I thought it was the DJ doing some sound effects. The place was packed.I just finished work at Regents Row. I know the guy Ronnie got to not testify. I will not say his name. He most likely will see this. Thank you for clearing up some of what happen afterward. I could not be a witness because I did not see anything. LOL No really I was playing Pac-Man.
I got 10 years clean had a problem with pain pills for along time was prescribed them at a young age and it just snowballed from there. You have to want to get clean if you don’t want to or are made to by court order something like that and ya not gonna work you have to want it. I completely moved away and restarted in a new town

They Never Walked In Your Shoe's, So Who Are They To Judge?? Listen, Anthony...Can You Please Do A Story On Tommy Agro?? Please?? I Mean, The Reason I Ask Is Because I've Only Heard Very Little On The Man Yet I Find Him Very Intriguing!! Much Respect To You, Sir...🙏
Mr. Ruggiano, I truly enjoyed this piece for it's love of the soda fountains and dime stores of yesteryear, and for the details you provided of how the mob handled "clean-up " following an unsanctioned hit. I have heard from others that only the Boss can approve a hit. Then, I have heard story after story of hits being approved by Underboss, Consigliere, and even by influential Capos. Here you had 7 Made Men, including 1 Capo, having a meeting to decide what to do to make this go away. And, among the measures decided upon was Frankie, the instigator, has got pay for this damage with his life. They were making darn sure this would not happen, again. As an outsider looking in, I have to assume that Capos have carte blanche permission to attend to expedient killing for the good of business. Said differently, if Gotti did not take corrective action at his level, it would not be good to have someone above him take corrective action. Did I get that right?
The history behind the soda fountain involves innovative pharmacists. The soda fountain was 'born' in the 1850's, when people would seek fountain drinks from their local drugstore to cure physical ailments. At the time, many fountain drinks were concoctions or extracts of flavored, effervesced drugs.
Hey Anthony , loving the content as always. Do you have any storys about Lenny DiMaria? I think hes still about and somewhat Acitve. NUFF RESPECT from the UK

The best of the genre. Very entertaining and gives no indication of embellishment whatsoever; completely natural in recounting extra-natural history.
Realest former mobster on UA-cam, love the videos Anthony
