      You can but the texture will be rougher and dryer as compared to freshly grated coconut.

    Good video. Although making fresh juice is too much work for me.
    I use Koepoe pandan flavoring.

    Hi, the thick coconut milk, can i use store bought ones - Kara brand?

      Yes should be fine but test making a few first and see if need to add water or not. Adjust accordingly to your liking.

    How much batter is in 1 ladle full? I want to make these for a party. Also, how many pancakes do you get with this recipe?

      I don't know, It depends on how big is your ladle and how much filling you want to roll inside. You can make it small or large, it's all up to you.

    As I’m living oversea, frozen or dried shredded coconut are the only options, can I use that? If yes, how to re-hydrate the coconut?

      I've not used those type before but you can try steaming them until they're soften.

      It’s ok,just pour in suitable warm water and they will rehydrate quite well

      Angie, I also use dehydrated. I add extra 1 tbsp of water per 100-150g.

      Yes but you need to add some water or else the batter will be too thick.

    Hi, how many recipes do I need to make from your pulut inti's coconut filling for this kuih ketayap recipe? Also, roughly how many rolls will u get with this recipe?

      You can try with 1 recipe first as any extras you can store in the fridge. As for how many pieces you can get depends on the size and thickness of your pancake. Your first few tries will not turn out well until you get the right temp for your pan. So hard to say exactly how many you will get.

      I've not tried without egg or any substitute. Maybe you can try a small amount and test it out. Sorry can't really answer your query.
