Pulse Check: Finding the Carotid Pulse

That's not carotid pulse. That is superficial temporal artery

Been trying for the past 2 days to find the pulse, can’t seem to find it. Convinced I’m a vampire now

Hopefully not a vampire! A few things to try: 1: Play with pressure. Start by just laying your fingers in the appropriate area and then slowly add pressure until you feel the pulse. Sometimes we push too hard and sometimes not hard enough! 2: See if you can have someone else find your pulse and then place your fingers in the same place, again playing with pressure. Good luck, and seek help if you start having an aversion to garlic.
