On one hand I think Stephanie is being too hard on Jack. He’s a good man. But on the other hand as a mother, I can understand her fear for her child’s life.
@@jennygustave2074 Thanks! My oldest son is away at college now and I worry about him ALL THE TIME. If he had anything like Felicia’s experience, I’d be freaking out too.
Well, any person whether they are mother or not, know that when you’re being lied to and secrets are being kept, is not the greatest foundation for a new relationship. I enjoyed watching her talk about Felicia being at risk of rape and harm first, & then switched it to remind Jack that he lied to her. clearly, she was thinking of her daughter and then the fact that the jack had already started lying to her. I would’ve done the same thing even though I like Jack.
This just proves what idiots the writers were on this show they blew Stephanie’s romance sky high because they like her bitter and chasing unworthy Eric…. Heaven forbid Stephanie to become truly happy
Idiot writers? Hardly. This is a perfect way to write Stephanie. Breaking up her and Jack was a brilliant move because with her wanting to get Eric back, it set the scene for some epic showdowns between Stephanie and Sheila. Having Stephanie become ‘truly happy’?? What fun would that be? She’d become a boring character if she was in a relationship that was all wonderful and peachy. You obviously don’t know good soap opera when you see it
I can only assume that as an actor, that food fight scene is one you would like to get right on the first attempt... can't imagine being covered in uncooked meat loaf, mashed potatoes, lettuce, ketchup, lemon meringue pie and whipped cream and hearing the director shout "okay, cut, let's do another take!"
The Karen.and Macy's situation is silly. We relive this moment with Brooke and Taylor at hope wedding with the cake , then Taylor and Brooke at Brooke house with the paint.🤦🏾♀️
Susan Flannery - a world class actress. The expressions in the last 2 mins of this episode make you forget that this is just a soap. In my eyes, she is right up there with the likes of Meryl Streep and Jodie Foster.
An incredible actress. Her performances always give me goosebumps. It never feels like she's acting to me, she is amazing and a world class talent. I've loved her in everything I have ever seen her in. She certainly was the heart and soul of this show ❤
The moment the words "that is not the impression I'm getting from YOUR HUSBAND" rolled over Karen's lips she should have stopped and realized the weakness of her argument. She is trying to justify her relationship with Thorne *to Thorne's wife* . Also LOL at "Let me go, I'm gonna kill her!" How exactly? By shoving her into the oven like the witch in Hansel and Gretel?
Stephanie you finally have a Man that loves and adores you, who doesn't treat you like you are insignificant, Eric has gone on with his life once again he loves another Woman not you. Jack should have been upfront but he is a good Man at his core.

Yes, the food fight was Macy's idea. And I think she had the upper hand - she scored a better hit with the meat loaf than Karen did with the salad that just kind of fell off Macy. Macy was actually surprisingly good at fighting for someone so petite. I remember her having a drunken fight with a tough biker chick and holding her own pretty well, as well as managing to (temporarily) wrestle a gun away from Anthony Armando after he shot her mother.
This reminds me of a scene Brooke was cooking at the Forrester kitchen and Caroline went to pester her. But it didn't end in this really good and funny food fight we saw here. Things were more "proper" back then lol.
LOL. Brooke and Caroline wouldn't have dared that in Stephanie's house. They both would have been too afraid that Stephanie then would have really kicked them both out of the house (would have made Thorne and Caroline move out, as Stephanie had suggested several times) - and so out of Ridge's orbit. 😏 (Ridge was not eager either to move out, not even after he had gotten married (twice)).
And for what reason? I can understand her being angry at Jack, after all that's her kid, but then they waste *years* of her being bitter and petty about Brooke and a marriage was had been on life support well before Beth Logan entered the chat, to copy a term from The Kiddos™. Just an epic fail all the way around, but it does highlight a lot of the issues that carry over on this show to this day in Bell's far less talented son in how much energy Hope and Steffy have wasted (and probably will continue to waste in the future) in Liam.
Stephanie, you are a bit harsh. You too had to deal with someone blackmailing you. You realized that that blackmailer (Deveney) was the woman who had planted herself in Thorne's life and you ran and just arrived in time when a drugged Thorne pointed a gun towards his brother for a second time. You didn't tell your kids either about that blackmailer, never told them about fake Angely/Deveney and instead let them think their newfound sister had just suddenly died. You claim that you have given Jack your heart, but you didn't even let him tell his whole story. (and could still then drop him).
Right; totally agree. She is a very hard character indeed. She has made many mistakes herself. She couldn’t have loved him if she didn’t even give him a chance to explain anything.
Its always about Stephanie and the Forrester clan....jack had to protect his family the Same way she always trample people to protect hers.....what about Thorn shot Ridge ......she doesn't deserve Jack
How come does Thorne after this chapter still look judgemental towards Ridge baffles me,atleast Ridge never did that when Taylor returned from the dead he had Brooke move back into her house
Not when Taylor returned for the second time from the dead (2005). Then Ridge really had a full house (Brooke, Taylor, all the kids: Thomas, the twins, Hope and R.J.). In 2005 Ridge came up with the great idea to spend a day with one woman, then the next day with the other - getting to have some romance time at the beach house away from all kids .. until he would make up his choice between his "wives".
Yeah. All this trouble to land Macy's husband and Karen isn't even into men. Though it actually isn't inconsistent with what we're seeing here. Karen doesn't seem to be genuinely in love with Thorne, any more than she was genuinely in love with Ridge a few months ago. She is just inexperienced and believes whatever she is feeling at the moment has got to be love.
It gives a whole new reading to that scene at Pierre's about her admiring how beautiful Taylor is with Ridge! 👀 That said, while I'm aware of the IRL reasons Karen was made gay in universe, overcompensating is absolutely a thing some of us queer folks can do, and that's a big reason why a lotta gay men used to join the military before DADT. Stephanie is taking the wrong approach here the man did the right thing he confessed he told the truth right when he found out may be she doesnot love him enough
As usual Stephanie is being a cold hearted witch unwilling to forgive, she never gives anyone a chance. I liked the Caroline character much better than Karen.
