Been watching dozens of your videos over the last few days, and loving every minute of it. Most importantly I love that you take the time to go into the deeper meaning of songs, especially from genres that you didn't grow up listening to. We all naturally gravitate to the music we listened to in our formative years - teens and early twenties, and the mark of a true scholar of music is branching out into new things and really genuinely trying to appreciate why people love that which is foreign to you. Keep it up my brother, you're a positive force in a negative world!

If you want to learn and broaden your horizons into these genres, these are some good bands to explore.

Small things matter. Those tiny nuggets with which we find common ground can be more impactful than the huge BS that divides us. The tiny nuggets we share can give us empathy into another person's perspective. If we dig a bit deeper, we find we're really not so different. Once we get to that point, we start to love and respect our fellow man. Peace!!!

Bro,.. I’ve already listed the other SOAD songs I’d love to see you do.. but incase you were looking for some new music, maybe you haven’t heard or even heard of before .. I warn you my tastes are eclectic but I promise you will each of these in their own way.
My current Too39 - no particular order:
    1) City & Colour - Paradise (or any song)
    2) Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek
    3) Hannah White - Elephant Eye (or any)
    4) Alexisonfire - Boiled Frogs(or any song)
    5) The Verve - The drugs don’t work
    6) The Black Keys - Gold on the ceiling
    7) Bloc Party - Signs
    8) Boysetsfire - The misery index
    9) The La’s - there she goes
    10) Cast - Walkaway
    11) The Coral - Dreaming of you
    12) Seal - Crazy
    13) Flo & the machine - No light, no light
    14) Guns n Roses - Civil War
    15) Hopesfall - East of 1989
    16) Liam Gallagher - For why it’s worth
    17) The Lumineers - Gale Song
    18) Mary Spender - Blues Duet
    19) Matthew Good - Weapon
    20) Blue Oyster cult - don’t fear the reaper
    21) Muse - Plug in baby
    22) Neverending white lights - the grace
    23) Noel Gallagher HFB - If I had a gun
    24) Paul Simon - Sound of Silence
    (version from Paul Simon Songbook)
    25) Paul Simon - Kathys song
    (from Paul Simon songbook)
    26) Paul Simon - I am a Rock
    (From Paul Simon songbook)
Sorry - just thing those three songs are important and should really be heard in those formats
    27) The Shins - Caring is creepy
    28) You+Me - Unbeliever
    29) You+Me - No Ordinary Love
    30) 36CrazyFists - Turns to Ashes
Now I apologise for the long list but music is the only thing in the world I love that even comes close to my love for my daughter (it’s about 0.00000001%) of how much I love my girl although really likely much smaller but i will never be able to put an accurate figure my love for my girl is unquantifiable - But what I’m trying to say is before I had her music was the most important thing in my world. Listening to it, making it, talking about it. I just lived it. Wish I had made a career somewhere in the industry infact but let myself give in to everyone who said I was being unrealistic but oh well.
The point being that would have been a Top 60,000 and I missed off so many artists I love but I didn’t want to include too many of the obvious ones like Hendrix, cash, dylan, nirvana, Metallica, clear water revival, Bob Marley, Chuck Berry, Queen, RunDMC, NWA, Eminem, Pendulum, Oasis, Jeff Buckley etc etc etc as we all already know how incredible these guys were. Whereas so many people but not everyone has heard the stuff I listed so I hope I’ve give you and maybe some others at-least one or two new artists to listen to as there is NO greater pleasure than discovering a new artist whose music speaks to your soul, you know? There is music in that list that can make you smile, make you laugh, make you cry, make you think and just make you speechless. I know you’re a busy man and won’t be able to do all of those but if you even manage to do a couple so some others out there can experience some of the pure joy I have from these songs then that would be INCREDIBLE.
My advice: start with Hannah White because it is something very different, so contemporary. The songs are all so so catchy and yet if you listen carefully the lyrics are filled with deep political observations or deep personal emotions. She has a gift for making the most sad song to the most happy sounding track and it takes a listen or two until you catch it. I love that juxtaposition. Shout out to @HannahWhiteMusic.
Other than that just freestyle the list in whatever order. Enjoy the songs, enjoy that experience of hearing something new m!
I hope you do and I hope some of you youtubers enjoy the experience. If atleast one person in the world hears a song they’ve never heard and it moves them and helps them in a way that they’ve all helped me then they would be amazing.
    Enjoy!
    #OneLove

It’s funny, I’m an Avalanche fan and a few times when they’ve played the Kings, I’ve heard them playing this song on the PA in the background at the Staples Center when watching games on TV. Totally know what you’re talking about! The band even mentions the SC on one of their other songs Deer Dance, check it out sometime.
