Just started bowling after 11 years. My average has been 140. Purple hammer got me a 189, 199, and 265 last week. My first 653 series. Can't put it down now.
This guy would have been successful at anything he did. You can just tell he has the mind, personality, strength, and fortitude. Meanwhile, I'm sitting in my dirty office, pissing in Gatorade bottles 'cuz I'm too lazy to walk to the bathroom, and secretly wishing an asteroid would hit my house.
I still want to see this challenge, lowest score, pin with every ball. Bluth took $20 from me on the first one in the 1960's. Made my spare pick up better over time.
We used to do that every week after summer league. Gutter or complete miss counted as a mark. It was easy because it was a small house that still had hand scoring.
Darren I wore my 'I hate league' shirt this past Friday, one of my teammates said "I think you wore that shirt on accident". I can assure you it was not accidental. Sometimes I just genuinely hate league 😂

Purple Hammer is best on the left side of the lane. 🤣 I saw the 20lb ball at Earl Anthony. That thing is seriously heavy. I feel like I might break the lane trying to throw it. I'd def be sore afterward, any my backswing would be MUCH lower. 😅
I switched from hammer to storm about 13 years ago and immediately gained 10 Pins average after 5 years of the same average. BUT I gotta say, the purple hammer looks like it hits like a tank. I’m intrigued

Like a year and a half ago, I started my league night first 4 frames, I'm a lefty, frame 1 stuff 10 pin, moved 1 and 1 right wrap 7, moved 1 right with feet stuff 9, stayed same laced 8. I was like well its gonna be 1 of those nights lol. But I do believe as far as I can remember that I've started a night like that lol.

USBC & The PBA outlawed the Purple Hammer.,.... because it was to good. That was fun. Did I take it to serious...nope... I have nearly every MFG at home

Just got one today, my average has beeen around 130 and first game with it got a 189, then 165 and 178!
