@@thepkismit's not about the resale value, it's about some sort of respect for the most beautiful wood for me. Of course she can do whatever she wants and I like the result, but...
So good to see Karen again - I love everything about this cottage. Turquoise is one of my favorite colors, and I love the white oak floors - not sure If I would have colored them, but I love that she followed her heart!
Well, you have to use something hard enough or it will get dented. Theres probably an epoxy like product though, that you could put on pine after it's colored that would harden it..
I agree they said white white oak I don't know if full wood or laminate I hope it was laminate because that would have been a really big mistake and I don't like this crap either she just said I wanted hardwood floors so I'm guessing that's all wood and that white oak is expensive oh boy😮
I think it's perfect for the beach! If I was a single lady, I'd like it for everyday, but my husband would be a little uncomfortable with all that color.
Yea its just a bed and breakfast tho. Theres no room in that kitchen for more than a jar of peanut butter and then only if you keep the jelly in the fridge..
Where are the good bones??? The house had to be almost entirely disassembled (what was left of it) and rebuilt with brand new studs and framing---well, everything. Basically she built a new home on a plot of land. There were no bones left. Even the house itself bears no resemblance inside or out to the original destroyed house. The shape is completely different. I just find it annoying she said it had "good bones, because, obviously it didn't. It had no bones at all. I like the blue floors, but it won't work in all cases. The whole entire house and decorating has to be changed and part of the blue floors. The floors don't stand on their own. The style and choices for every piece of artwork and furniture; every design and color choice would have to be a part of it. Not as simple as coloring a floor.

I’ve missed your remodels! Glad I found you. Love your hair color. And house.
i like the floors a lot - but why using this beautiful white oak for staining it blue?
because she likes it and can and stated it is her forever home - therefore does not care about resale value……

@ it’s an easy sand and stain. At least they are using real wood. Most ppl use laminate vinyl trash. You want grey wood look vinyl?
I love everything about this house! The floors are amazing!
The kid's clearly watches too many home reno programs. 😂

She really won the game with that blue floor. Simply brilliant! 😮
The floors...YESSSS!!!
OMG, these are my colors!!! This is my dream house!!!!!!!
I love the color of the floors! Do you have to use that quality wood if you’re going to give it that treatment?

@@JustMe-jc2ft thanks!
I think it's not too rare for people in Mexico to dye their cement floors a color, like red or this bright blue. I love it.
there is so much color but it works well together!
I love the color of the countertops
This would totally be my house too, except I'd have a huge Mexican Chef's kitchen :) Love it!
I hate the floors...ruined the nice wood.

Floors 😒🕊️ Lamp!🎉
I don't think I would have spent that kinda of money on floors and then stained them , but it's your vision.

Love colour but not on the floors. I think you might regret it
Too much color for my taste
Love the house and your splashes of color, but please keep the dog out of it, he's not furniture.
Two actors….not authentic …..thumbs down……
