The setup :
MB : MSI MPG Z390 Edge WiFi
GPU : GeForce RTX 2080 GIBABYTE Windforce (8gb)
CPU : Intel i7-8700k
RAM: 8gb x 4 (3200mhz)
I agree - Dogtown is killing my 8700k , getting fps in the 40-45 range. Running a heavily OC 2080ti ~2050mhz and the thing is CPU bound at 4k 😮 , the GPU usually get 65-70fps dlss quality 4k high reflections (everything else maxed , no RT).
This is also an 8700k which has a manual OC to 4.7Ghz all core too
Yeah, CD projekt had announced that CPU use would be higher for the DLC ^^

Unfortunately, I assume that game optimization is still the most expensive to do, it requires brains...
Yeah, it requieres a lot of time if you want to do it correctly 😅
PL somehow has higher requirements...i have a ryzen 7600x with 6000mhz ram and my game runs better on base game....my overall PL's perfomance is lower..still above 60 but lower
Yep, juste like in my video, PL it's demanding more CPU than base game ^^ and maybe more gpu too

2080 and i7 8700k good combo and not a bottleneck?
At 1440p yes absolutely. At 1080p it's decent with a good oc.
@@HeartOfAdel1oh i see, I use a 1080p monitor at the moment but planning to upgrade by the end of this year, by overclocking do you mean oc the cpu. What oc settings would you recommend if so :)
yeah, add in lossless scaling if you want and cap at a stable fps for you and you'll get x3 fps (with really unnoticeable image difference)
the optimisations for cyberpunk are the worst in long time ive ever seen
I dont think it's the worst optimization, in the begining the optimization was super bad, but now it's juste ok. The graphics are very good and compared to other AAA games the performances are good
