      You’re welcome!! I’m so glad it was helpful for you!💖 The spray products really just help it last longer which allows you to not use hot tools as often - keeping your hair healthier! If your hair or scalp is sensitive to sprays by all means you do not need them☺️🎉 you’re style just probably won’t last as long that’s all🙂 it will still look great!

    I just came across this video because I was thinking about going back to my own high school days, which would mean buying hot rollers. I think what you are doing here is a lot like using the hot rollers and letting them cool for 20 or 30 minutes, but you are adding steps. That said, I've been using a huge curing iron and velcro rollers, doing pretty much exactly what you did here, since 1991 when I gave up the hot rollers for a straighter look. I use extra large velcro rollers for my straight look. My natural hair is very wavy and frizzy but I never wanted the totally flat look that comes from using a flat iron. I do sometimes flat iron then use velcro rollers to add a bit of bounce. Anyway, I enjoyed this video, but you might someday try hot rollers, would be faster.

    Thank you for showing the back of your hair with the rollers! Most UA-camrs don’t and I feel like that’s one of the most important parts when setting your hair because where and how you place your rollers can make a big difference.

    Best video EVER! Finally I learned to section my hair and put rollers in my hair. I’m dyslexic and find it very difficult to do my hair while looking in the mirror. I usually burn myself, roll in the wrong direction and even get crimps and bumps from the clips. Seen and followed your video yesterday and only rolled one in the back going the wrong way. I’ll take that! I’m sure to get it right the next go around. Your step by step instructions are fantastic. I never knew what size rollers to use and were or where to place the clips. My sister was a cosmetologist and always did my hair. She passed away 8 years ago. I know she was smiling down on me for finally achieving this task. Heck she probably led me to your video since it was the only one I looked at yesterday. Thank you so very much for teaching this old dog a new trick. The only thing I’m not sure of is where to get the products you used? I can never seem to find them on the UA-cam video when they say they will be posted below. Thank you for your fantastic how to video!

    Sweetheart, can you explain why we need to use a heating thing before rollers? What’s the logic and what does it do? Might as well just use the heating thing to create curls? Why need rollers then?

    • @AngelicaFitzGerald
      @AngelicaFitzGerald  3 роки тому +3

      If you do not use the rollers you’ll get a pretty curl too - you’ll just get a very very different curl. Curl your hair with a curling iron (heating thing) with out rollers and then do it with roller and you’ll understand the difference. Neither way is wrong you just get a different curl.

    • @AngelicaFitzGerald

      @@Dandelion_flight you can! But you will need to wear them for a couple of hours that’s all. Typically if you’re going to do 100% heatless curls it’s advised that you sleep in your rollers☺️👍🏼

    • @AngelicaFitzGerald
      @AngelicaFitzGerald  3 роки тому +1

      Usually mousse will make your hair a bit greasier and sticky. I would only use hair mousse on some type of slicked back hair style. With the style I am showing you in this video hair mousse will weigh your hair down and make it harder for your hair to have volume.
