I think the Deluxe is the best looking bike ever made. Classic Harley Davidson with all the modern advantages. Can't believe they discontinued it. But a Heritage with windshield and saddle bags removed and voila. A Deluxe.
A lot of folks agree with you on that. I am partial to the Deluxe...although on the M8's I don't care for the Jetson style turn signals. Other than that, hard to beat.
The fender already has the pre-drilled hole in it to attach the same seat mounting hardware that would be found on a street bob. The hardware is hd part# 59768-97 (same hardware used to attach the passenger seat)
Not only does it make for a much more comfortable ride, it also increases the lean angle quite a bit. See details at this link- www.dkcustomproducts.com/rider-floorboard-extensions-for-harley-fl-m8-softail-models-2418.htm
No Tuner. The M8's do not run lean like the Twin Cams. Here is a report on that with AFR readings and more- www.dkcustomproducts.com/milwaukee-eight-dyno-charts-other-interesting-info-dk-m8-rpt.htm It will run better with a tuner, but it is not necessary like it is on a Twin Cam.
I like the relocation of the floor boards
💯
Nice job guys ! AND YES on the Triglide walk around!!!
Glad you like! Yes, we're planning on doing the Tri Glide next week.

The Deluxe is the sexiest stock bike ever made!

nice mods subtle but can can easily see not stock
Thanks! Yeah, Dwayne has a nice ride, and I know he enjoys it!
I have the same bike with some of the same mods as you have done. How did you attach the street bob seat? The mounting is different.
Thanks
Dwayne should be here soon to answer this

How does the floorboard relocation kit affect your lean angle?
Not only does it make for a much more comfortable ride, it also increases the lean angle quite a bit. See details at this link- www.dkcustomproducts.com/rider-floorboard-extensions-for-harley-fl-m8-softail-models-2418.htm
Do you sell the foot extension mounts for a 98 Road King?
Yes, you can see them at this link- www.dkcustomproducts.com/rider-floorboard-extensions-for-1993-08-harley-fl-touring-models-dk-tr-flb-ext-08.htm
Deluxe is now discontinued along with the breakout & FXDR Sadly...
Pretty sure the Deluxe will be back after a year off...not sure about the other two. Harley has done this with other models periodically.
