- Moscow, Russia - Our second stop on our journey across the entire country of Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
We arrived early from Saint Petersburg to Moscow on the Trans-Siberian Railroad and immediately went out to find the best things to do in Moscow.
We rent bikes and explore the different Moscow attractions, have an incredible traditional Russian food feast, attend a special Orthodox ceremony, and then experience the Kremlin, St Basil's Cathedral and many other attractions in Moscow.
It was amazing to finally see Moscow with my own two eyes.

Russians have a proverb - "You can’t enter the same river twice" (the original word is Heraclitus). Sometimes, after not positive changes, it’s scary to return to a fairy tale from the past. Say, Paris has changed dramatically - I'm afraid to be disappointed to visit nowdays again. Refugees and Yellow vests... Definitely, although in my case I had always said first I know Russia because it seemed like a beautiful country, people told me to be careful that there could be danger, the same with Turkey. And when I arrived I realized that it was much more beautiful than it looks in videos or on TV. I absolutely fell in love, I was impressed with the cleanliness, order, safety, and everything in general. I want to return soon. Greetings from my little country Costa Rica. I was so in love that I am learning Russian.

I was in Moscow last week. What an incredible city to visit the interior of the Kremlim with the cathedrals is just beautiful. There is also the second Kremlin "izmailovo market" and one of my favorite places is the "ВДНХ" where you can find the astronomy museum and various Russian pavilions
Oh, it a pity,that you see ВДНХ now. Decades ago it was a gorgeous place,but now it is just a shadow of former greatness. But some day Russians make their country great again 🙃
these are not Russian, these pavilions represent countries, which formed the Soviet Union: Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia etc..

Man, I am loving this Russia series! I knew I would, but it's so nice to see what Moscow is really like instead of hearing about it on the news and seeing a skewed perspective on it in movies and TV shows. The bike ride looks like a really cool way to experience the city and the feast looked amazing! I love a good dumpling and the Mors looks and sounds delicious. :) I love the footage of the Orthodox ceremony - so beautiful and peaceful. I'd love to experience St. Basil's Cathedral and Red Square for myself someday, even with the crowds at the Kremlin! Beautiful work, man. You're making me want to visit Moscow!

Wow, your videos are so professional. And that first restaurant looks amazing. They even let you wear the costumes! It actually did a good job summarizing Russian culture in such a small space, while having that warm atmosphere of being in a babushka's kitchen.
What I love about foreigners coming to Russia and seeing themselves that it's not anywhere close to how it's being portrayed in the Western media is that moment of sheer realization that their media isn't in fact that much free and unbiased. :)

Чувак, не путай туризм с эмиграцией. Россия все равно остается далека от цивилизованного общества и в целом достаточно жестоквата для жизни в плане уровня агрессии. Москва, конечно, стала городом европейского уровня, но вот стоит мне там побыть месяцок и хочется обратно в США, так как в бытовой жизни я встречаю крайне много лютого быдла, хотя живу типа в илитном центре, я боюсь представить, что за Садовым происходит.

Да нет никаких "отношений" между людьми. Все есть политика. Тут один блоггер снял видео. Мы не знаем, что он думает о России без камеры. Точнее можно предположить. Достаточно приехать в гости к ред некам в Техас, так там каждый второй (уж поверьте мне) выскажется в духе "холодной войны"... Так что не надо сильно преувеличивать и рисовать реальность таковой, каковой она не является.

Holy shit dude. This video made with so much love. That moment with a bishop gave me shivers (I'm not even religious and we also got used to hate church for many awkward political statements coming from our orthodox church leaders). I mean here in Russia many of us have this idea that we have to be ashamed, that we are not as cool as the rest of the world. But the more I see and travel the more I come to this idea that there's more to appreciate here than we all see. That's why I like blogs like yours. Having a perspective from outsiders is just great. And it also always surprises me that in 2019 there are still people who think that Russia is dangerous. This is just something I can't understand. Like at all. Like it's not Columbia, Bolivia, Peru. Paris is far from being safe at night, which is not true about Moscow and Saint Petersburg. If you're a tourist and thinking if you should come here - just do it. It is not overcrowded by tourists like Europe, taxi is cheap, food is ok, transportation is good, the internet and SIM cards are cheap. Just pick the right weather and you'll be fine.

I wanted to express my gratitude to you, Gareth, for shedding light on our culture and our way of life. I hope that everyone who watches this video will seize that the Russians are not evil, hostile mafia guys, but rather hospitable and open people who value family and traditions. Beautiful Moscow, I loved it, I went to it during the Autumn of 2021, it was beautiful with the Kremlin, red fortress with Autumn vibes, absolutely beautiful, the food is great and the people are respectful

Where you've seen another situation? In muslm countries, in Africa? Western woman first will make a career, obtain financial independence, and then, maybe will get a husband as a pet. To born a children for herself. Or just a husband as a pet, lol.

Hey, I just thought that your trip is a sort of a pilgrimage... in some sort of way it is a pilgrimage... it is a path to cross the country. And you just god a blessing from the priest for your pilgrimage. This is so awesome!
I was born in Vladivostok but never traveled across the country by train. My parents, on another hand, crossed the country a few times back in 70's. Hopefully, someday I will do the same... maybe with lesser stops but still do. My parents and their heritage came from Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk. I will visit those cities for sure.
I do want to travel to Moscow in winter though 😍 I remember Russians saying if u think autumn in moscow is pretty, u should visit it in winter ❄️
