Morning out on Kentucky Lake. No Live-scope needed

Took time off work to do a little fishing with my dad. Fished from 5am - 10:15am and caught around 40 fish and had a 12lb limit.
Bigger fish are moved out to ledges, but you can still catch some nice ones on banks and points

ive seen some bigs lately but they arent where you would expect.. they were super shallow and not in schools just more solo but i think they have been feeding on the small bluegills. because the ones i seen were near where i was catching smaller bluegills for bait for my trotlines. and the small bluegills have been hanging tight to the shore and not on the main lake but in the smaller coves.

Oh I believe it. I’ve heard of people catching them like that, but its hard for me to make that decision to move shallow when I’ve always fished them deep or on structure in the summer
