@@robertbrucescott8278 similar style...I made the same mistake. any chance you could break down the lesson littlemore slowly...ive only been playin 3 years..the arpeggios too fast for my ear. ty
@@vibefrequencyable If you start at about 6:45 in the video, I break down all the chords for the song. Most of the arpeggiations are pinching the bass note and the top 2 or 3 notes of the chord or straight up and down starting with the thumb on the bass note of the chord. There aren't any complicated arpeggiation patterns. Pinch, straight up or straight down. Thanks!! rbs
Apparently some people commented to my parents that they had given me a rather ethnic name. I am simply named after both my grandfathers - Robert Bruce and Robert Scott. Marketing magic though - makes my name very easy to remember.
I love the tone you get for that song. I also use a JP Music Man played thru a Fender Champion 100, but I'm missing something. Can you tell me what your settings are?
I have the JP 50 pickup switch set in the middle, tone on 10, volume on 7. I'm using a Fender Jazz Chorus with a small amount of chorus. I pot the bass up to 8, mid on 6, high on 4. I'm also using a Line 6 POD to add a very small amount of flange and compression.
Better than I can do BUT as you said yourself, this is meant to be a played at a MUCH slower pace. Way to rushed, but you sir are an incredible musician 🤘
Thanks for the kind words! Yeah - rushing is a problem for all musicians. The Eagles used to put up two huge signs they all had to walk past on their way to the stage - the last two messages they saw before they would take the stage: CHECK YOUR HARMONIES. DON'T RUSH.
Glad you like it. For me to frame close I'm going to have to invest in some more technology and software. I'll do the research and see what I need to be able to do a split-screen. At the moment I'm just using the built-in camera in my Mac Air. I will need to get a real camera to get close on the fingerboard.
One of my favorite Robert Plant songs ❤️
Very fun to play and to sing - and often requested by my audiences. Thanks for listening! rbs
Thanks for putting in the time and effort to putting this up. Loved learning this amazing song from you.
I'm glad you found the lesson useful - thanks for letting me know! rbs
Impressive raw version ! congratulations, you’re a very good musician.
This guitar work was by the one and only Doug Boyle
Thank you for the correction - I had to look it up. So why was I thinking this was Robbie Blunt? rbs

Bravo, Robert Bruce Scott. Great work! I already knew Robert Bruce was a Scot, though.

Indeed, it does. I remembered it quickly today from last night which usually happens if at all, very slowly.

Excellent Thank You....
Glad you enjoyed it! I hope you find more on my channel that is useful. I just posted Big Log - in case you're a Robert Plant fan...

Close but no cigar. Wrong hand positioning.
It would be helpful if you could indicate which part of the song. Thanks!! rbs
At first blush, no way. Man, I was totally wrong!!!
Glad you liked it - I hope the tutorial was helpful! Thanks!! rbs
