Looks like a nifty solution for using the PI away from your desk. I got one of the NexDock Touch devices whish does a similar thing but with the battery and keyboard built in and works a treat.

Thinkin about building myself a raspberry tablet, been kinda wanting to have a portable cloud/stream gaming device for the past week, be able to play my pc at a friends house or a game on GeForce now with the 3080 plan, show off how good pc gaming is to the console friends without taking 30 mins to setup a tower I brought over😅
if you’ve seen the pi-top’s new monitor accessory that attaches to the pi-top diy case in the back... i am wondering now whether you can somehow attach the pi-top diy in the back instead. that way you have a built-in battery and speakers by default with less clutter. so it would be like their setup, but with touch instead. 6:36 cyberpunk 2077 moment 😂 edit: i just realised the pi-top monitor is also touch, as seen on eta prime’s newer video. but it has an ugly bezel... so maybe if there is a way to use this monitor instead with that case. 🤔
The touchscreen scrolling is a problem with Firefox, it seems. Google "firefox touchscreen scroll" and you should find some answers on how to enable it (such as starting Firefox with certain options, or install Firefox plugins that allow touchscreen scroll to work).
Thanks for the vid, I totally stole the idea and made my own, just need to get the power bank but so far so good. I'm using it mostly for some comic books and will clean up the back with some 3d printed parts. I've had too many problems with Lineage unfortunately so for now its Twister OS

I keep the brightness low beyond 7 or 8 the screen cuts out. 5 is plenty bright enough. I also had a very cheap thin 1.2A usb C cable that couldn’t power the monitor at any brightness.

Very nice! I'm waiting to hear back from the US Amazon vendor on whether the model they're selling here has the VESA mount or not. My plan was to do something similar (rear mounting the Pi & SSD on perspex) in my caravan to keep it all compact. (Using a Logitech keyboard for control.)
There is a much thinner Pi with only small sockets and no GP-IO and you could wire a few mobile phone batteries together in parallel for a low profile, long life, USABLE handheld tablet. Could even have taken off the back of the screen, made a 5mm riser out of a strip of aluminium and put the kit inside... We all know you can attach a Pi to an external touch screen.

Regarding windows 10 with touch Now that i have a proper touchscreen device to use windows 10 with i can give you some advice There are some settings that make stuff in file explorer look bigger and easier to use There is a setting to makae task bar icons wider You can always show the touchscreen keyboard on the task bar (incase it does not automatically show up) There are touch gestures (swipe from the left side to the right to open app switcher and right to left to open notification center To make windows more like windows 10x you can install task bar x which will make your task bar centered and you can install win aero tweaker and enable windows 10x boot screen which changes your boot animation Hopefully this was helpful
Great video 👍 but the touch screen at $250 plus dollars is way too expensive and with all the other parts you can end up buying one already made for 3 to $400 if not quite a bit less

Glossy. In direct sunlight as with most tablets it’s not great. In ordinary daylight it’s fine.

The not scrolling isn't a ubuntu problem its a problem with fire fox if you installed say ungoogled chromium which is what i use it works fine

I can't get konstakang android 11 to boot it only goes into recovery.
Try a different monitor. I followed my own video yesterday and successfully wrote it to an sd card.
