OK....this is the 2nd time I've watched this through. This is a VERY busy character to play, it seems. But Visually.....it is AMAZING! Really enjoyed this one. Plus I now have a not so wholesome Klondike bar jingle going through my head.....LMAO
I went corruptor on my storm/storm just because I didn't have a corr yet. I worked gale and jet stream into mine. For team play mainly use jet stream with a KB to KD proc. I think you showed me the error of my ways on a couple of things. Good stuff lady!

Nicely done, Wednesday Truly showcases the raw power of the two sets and the great synergy ! I was inspired by your DA/DM Tank and made a DM/DA Brute. So far I am a huge fan of the utility of the sets, but just like storm...the endurance issues! Keep up the great commentary...my favorite comment, "Out storm me??!!??" ⛈
I always enjoy your videos . Never know what you'll say. Klondike Bar awesome. Not my playstyle as i play tanks, brutes, scraps and sents. Was surprised how high you got your defenses. Does your defense take a dip once you engage like it does for the stealth power ? You were doing so well til that boss got ya. Take that 5th slot out of Hurricane and put it in health and put a Prevent Absorb %Proc, might have saved you against that boss. Nice video and very entertaining.

But becuase I know you are just DYING to know what I would change: >Freezing Rain: This power with it's minor DoT and ability to accept a HALF DOZEN different enhancement sets is just begging for procs - as many as possible. As a Rebirth player I don't know Ice Minstrel and it's bonuses that well but I don't know if they can beat 4-6 different proc effects going off. >Tornado: Don't sleep on Soulbound Allegiance, especially the build-up proc. It will go off more than you realize and is a must have for any build with pets, especially low-level ones. You're absolutely right about the KB>KD on this one. It knocks them down and not away, meaning they keep getting hit. >Health: If you find more slots you can always throw the Preventive Medicine proc here. It doesn't go off a lot, but when it does it's a life-saver. >Stamina: If you are REALLY wanting to emphasize Recovery then change out that End/Accuracy Performance Shifter for a vanilla End Mod enhancement. The accuracy modify is 100% wasted. >Tactics: As you stated the end reduction is good if you just have the single slot, but if you add just one more and throw To-Hits on it your Direct Strike become insta-snipe. I'm sure you already knew most or all of this. But I just love tricking out the stats just as much as the actual game play and can't help sharing. Happy heroing.
actually I've been pretty unclear about how procs work with pets and pseudo-pet powers. for some reason I had the impression that they didn't play well together but that may be a misconception I had. I will investigate!
I’ve played around with procs in freezing rain and it makes little difference in damage output. The pseudo pet that freezing rain summons just doesn’t fire off the proc enough to justify IMO.
@@jackpotsdadproductions1115 We'll have to disagree. It's nowhere near as insane as the pre-nerfed days when this power could see the same proc go off multiple times in a single attack. However at max level if just 1 one proc goes off that's over double the dmg using just one slot. If nothing else it makes a great host for Achilles' Heel, effectively boosting ALL other damage for a short time.

Each action/attack gives an opportunity for a proc effect to occur. If you AND your pet are both throwing attacks, the more frequently procs will happen. Attacks (from you or a pet) that hit multiple targets ups those chances even more.
I played Storm since the beginning and remade him on Homecoming. It is a favorite set. It is end hungry. If I use Gale, I do put in a KB to KD. I too worried about its one real weakness which is mez and stun and went Cardiac on Alpha. I recommend 4 slots on O2 (Preventive medicine). Steamy Mist 2 LotG, Reactive Defenses Scaling Resist, and 2 Aegis (One Psi/Status Resist). The most important power in Freezing Rain (4 slots 3 Undermined Defense and Achilles Proc). Hurricane is 4 Dark Watchers, but I don't run it all the time. I only use it to herd or protect squishy teammates. Tornado I proc fest it since it is mostly used on bosses but I have another Achilles, Touch of Lady Grey Proc, KB to KD, and 2 Expedient Reinforcements. No Accuracy is really needed on power. I like putting the chance to hold in LS for fun. Another way to reduce end is to put 2 Unbreakable Guards (including unique) in Tough + the 2 good Steadfast Protections. Hover, Evasive Maneuvers, Weave, and Combat Jumping all get LotG. I maxed Recharge + Haste. Yes I run CJ and Hover, with CJ also getting Kismet, and the Shield Wall Unique. Fly gets the 2 Blessings of the Zephyr to prevent KB. I went with Dark Mastery for the defense power and dark consumption if end becomes a real problem. The only real skippable power in Storm is Thunder Clap and not needed with timely use of hurricane. The guidance I received on Storm cell is all it needs is 2 range, and a recharge. Hover is needed to fly above the mobs and then drop Lightning Storm :) People should know that Storm does not have self heal.
I’m surprised at the damage. Your defender is level shifted but still you’re still taking on the equivalent of +1/x8 with bosses. You mowed them down faster than I thought possible given that you chipped away with most dot attacks. Nice build. I’m still not taking gale though. 😝

What server do you play on? Your Storm storm is like my gravity/kinetic controller. With repel slotted with knockdown. You should share your builds with Mids Reborn

I have a Storm/Seismic defender, my Chaos bringer, a lot of fun to play. I also use knockdown IOs to not be obnoxious to teammates.
