So refreshing to see someone review the Weekender! It is an affordable classic. There was a period in my life where I was a taxi driver on the night shift. I did not want to wear a watch that would invite robbery but still be nice. The Weekender hit all the marks and the indiglo was handy late at light. I do not wear mine often anymore, but I cannot get rid of it.
Yes! I have casio's stainless version of that watch with the improved indiglo background light and I love it. I just ordered a stainless steel 38mm weekender with blue second hand. I'm going to mount it on a stainless steel expandable speidel band to create an analog version of my casio fav. I like yer style, Dude!
Great review! I think my FIL has one. To be sure, no one is mistaking it for a JLC, VC, or PP, but it presents just fine paired with casual or even ‘smart casual’ attire.
I got the timex last year, it wasn't bad for the money, but the ticking is very loud and the strap holes were rought, so I took some sandpaper to the strap to soften it...
I bought this watch in 2015 , i wear it every day , the battery is stiil going strong , but the indiglo has disappeared , time to buy a new battery methinks .

I love the Weekender :)
Superb video and commentary. I went from Casio to Timex and have no regrets. My hearing is bad so I don't hear the ticking. 😂
its just so pleasing to the eye man wonderful watch
This and Casio F 91W. My two favourites. Nice video.

I like the ticking sound
It is pretty loud.

Thank you. That's a good choice from Timex. Simple and versatile.
You convinced me! (I don't need much convincing). Great video
That’s great 😃
My friend, I just ordered one. @@OneManReviews

I did not have any problem with straps I even use one on my other watch right now. But the ticking is very loud.
Nice video. What are your thoughts on the Timex easy reader 20041 35mm case?
Классные! Я второй день с руки не снимаю, радости нет предела😂
I like a Weekender. A fair watch for a fair price.
(It has to be put away at night because of the ticking)
@@foxyMcFoxface 😂😂😂
Great, thank you
Got it today for $40. Off-white dial is a kind of dull and boring. It’s indiglo which is probably what we’re paying for
The weekender is more legible!

Is it waterproof? Like shower, swimming etc? All my citizens casios and Seikos are so for me it's crucial! Thank you
@@georgebijacu7141 30 meters waterproof .
At least 100m wr and it would be perfect, litteraly just that
best watch for under $50 bucks? ya gotta go with the Casio W800H (you can buy 2 for $50 actually).
Casio is a digital sports watch. The Weekender is much more versatile.
@JimL. That’s apples:bananas. Other than that they both tell time, the Casio you cited has zero to do with this Timex.

@@OneManReviewsAgree!
Best watch under $50 is Casio Duro diver; 200m water resistance and stainless steel case. Timex is not even made of steel.
You maybe right but no two people ever agree on everything.
@@smokeylake6732I agree with him.
Как ты там на чужбине?
Я к стати ролекс купил.
