Massive Monka Number S moment
Frozen music while saving is usually an indicator for repro versions of the game.
Because those repro cardriges are using an emulator and a game Rom.
When the music freeze its the emulator pausing the Rom to create an safe state.

@@shiningskies47 it happened again when he saved again. He even questioned if it was normal that Gen 3 games freezes while saving.
If a real game freezes it doesn't just unfroce after a few seconds.

Hey, I'm a new subscriber. I was wondering if I could use an emulator to soft reset for the shiny starters in this game? I have my boy (paid version) if that matters. I did catch a wild shiny and it got me obsessed. Thanks.
Yooo i appreciate that welcome to the community! and i dont hunt on emulators so im not 100% but im pretty sure it can be done! you can probably assign a button to soft reset or press the same combination of buttons to soft reset as in the real games

I play the free gba emulator on android. No hacks. I remembered I got a shiny lapras before and didn't know. I was like "ouu look that pokemon have cool stars when it comes out." Lol I try my luck just now from start and just got a shiny bulbasaur within 30 reset in leaf green lol seeing others try so long for one. Epic youtube video that trach you new things🙃

It’s case the games you have are fake and you won’t be able to keep any of those starters at all not even sure if you can trade them to another game boy with a link cable.
