- In this video I’ll be making a Gar fishing Lure or a Rope lure for gar kind of. I had higher expectations from this lure. Unfortunately I needed to remove the hook because it kept getting caught in the nylon and killing the action but I still managed to get one on the bank, for a second lol.

Yes to the intro. That feeling when you know you hit yourself with the knife, but not sure how bad it is lol we've all been there I think.

It also helps keep the bait level while sanding that’s the main reason I do it like that.

I've made a couple Jitterbug lures and cut & hammered the lips out of brass. Mine weren't as cool looking as yours though!

Great build, but 2 comments, 1 line ur vise with delrin or leather 2 maybe shorten the skirt a bit to prevent short strikes?

Not for gar where I'm from...but bass.
Well yeah I mean it’s a jitterbug so definitely a bass lure. But I figured it would be good for gar since it’s topwater and has the nylon for the teeth to get tangled in.
