No need to go out if it's too cold and they're not really biting anyway Trey. Save them for spring and we can watch a video or two were you try them all, comparing what works best on what days, that would be something to look forward to and you'd have a Good selection rather than risking loosing them before the better fishing starts 👍 Ghost eyes on that one 😱😮😂
nice video.... remember that with wake baits line drag plays a great part in fine tuning a wake bait with certain woods making a big difference in floatation.
@@TreysArt Nothing like Cedar for action and floatation, never saw a wake bait that had to much floatation. Most are a real struggle to keep that V on top of the water.
Good call on changing out the hardware - the action really is a lot better afterwards. The cold weather bite is so tough - I've pretty much given up since I'm unwilling to get out in a kayak in these temperatures. Time to organize my gear, make upgrades where I can, and start making some baits for the spring. I love watching your vids for inspiration. Thanks!
Same here. Just gonna mainly stick to making baits and saving them up til spring. It’s too cold for me to get out either. I try to go on the warmer days but I mean the water temp is still low and I just can’t get on any fish.

I’ll keep that in mind. I really think my biggest issue was too much weight on this one though.

Hi
Hey friend.
@@TreysArt hello
Cianoacrylate and policarbonate aren't good friends
Works pretty good for me 🤷🏻♂️
@@TreysArt Cyanoacrylate makes the polycarbonate crystallize making it fragile, better to use the epoxy glue
Ok thanks I’ll keep that in mind.
