I was once leaving a Trump Rally in the southern part of the US, I went for historical perspective more than I went to support the cause, and passed a line of cars in a double yellow. Immediately saw blue lights behind me and got pulled over. The cop asked me where I was coming from, and I said the Trump rally. The guy smiled, told me "Make America Great Again" and sent me on my way.
This is great, I really like the Comedians in Cars getting Coffee format, and I really like Seinfeld and his show, but making the subject cars instead of comedy... amazing. Thank you for continuously producing great videos Matt.
Dezibel´s und Turbo´s Takes real talent to understand what's special about all cars. Honda's are very special when you know what a great driving car should feel like.
Dezibel´s und Turbo´s no worries. It wasn't rude. Alex seems like a chill guy who doesn't give a crap about sterotypes and likes cars for what they are.
Dezibel´s und Turbo´s Lot of people like Honda and Porsche here too. Or way round. I think both brands have cool history and good engineering in terms of engines and sportcars.
Magnus, I truly love your story and how much u love Porches. I myself love these cars and worked on them at a shop called RPS Automotive located in West Los Angeles, Ca. It was one of my best experiences ever and being trained on how to work on these machines by Mr, Rick Norris, himself, it was the best times of my life. Would love to someday meet you and take a tour in your shop. Too me a Porche is a true Race car for the street...
this is my favorite DRIVE video, but the lenses on almost every camera used to film we all horrendously dirty. Thanks anyway, now I know which porsche i want 2nd most.
I am the new (3 weeks) owner of a 997.1 TT and have already scheduled a rather big set of performance upgrades for mid October to include: Kline headers, Europipe Stage 2 exhaust, Fabspeed carbon fiber Competition Air Intake, IPD Y pipe/82mm plenum/82mm GT3 Throttle body/EVOMS throttle body seal kit, EVOMS Turbo inlet pipes, By Design intercoolers, and Garrett GT28 or GT30 ball bearing water/oil cooled Turbos (sold as Tial Alpha 28/30 Turbos). I have a manual transmission so will also be doing a Sachs racing sports clutch upgrade. Also lowering the car with H&R springs and installing 993RS motor mount upgrade kit. My target is a modest 700 HP at the crank....so around 615-620 at the wheels. Can't wait, should make my P car quite the blast to drive..
Oh the turbo spooling noise ....magnificent....when Matt is talking and driving 4:00 min in and onward ....it's so clearly audible...whooosh!...he's on the gas....
I own a 2007 911 Turbo (23K miles)...480 BHP from the factory (Though it seems like more), but she is in the shop right now (AutoQuest MotorSports Ft. Myers, Fl.) getting a long list of engine and cosmetic and handling upgrades. I should have her back by November 1st. 775 BHP (700 WHP). Mine is also a manual transmission. Of course as a Turbo it is AWD, but she should be quite the best regardless...I can't wait.
Here on Madeira Island (google it) the most outlandish car I have ever seen is a Porsche GT2 RS. A couple of lambos here, some ferraris, lots of porsche and other assorted sports car, but that white porsche with black bonnet is the most insane car I've seen. If it had the sharkworks tune I'm pretty sure it would be cartwheeling down a 3000ft ravine.
Magnus seems like such a cool guy. I just absolutely love people that came from nothing and have success stories. Those are the most down to earth.

147 in 3rd gear, I'll take it.
mrnoah1124 hell yeah man lmao what a machine!
mrnoah1124 Just means the gear spacing is really wide.
g4rr377 that's what you want for high HP cars.
short ratios end up ruining the car.
kinda like the C7 7 speed needing to shift every second lol
SANIC that's the worst man, holy shit. I can't even express my frustration with short gearing and high HP. Argggghhhh.
Necrodox The Vette 7 speed is a horrible transmission.
IDK how tremec managed to fuck it up so bad.
it's impossible to hit 3rd or 5th
Jerry Seinfeld isn't going to sue is he?
kemicala I think he has a case and he has fuck you money to kill the Drive network
kemicala Parody is fair use.
/DRIVE Oh ok. Just concerned because i thought i remembered even Weird AL having legal issues with parodies.
kemicala Why would jerry seinfeld sue, what did /DRIVE do?
Ryan Carey The title "Drive Hosts In Overpowered Sports Cars Getting Coffee" is parody of Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee".
Matt will do 147 in traffic but won't pass a car on a double yellow
Lol.True.
Hahahahaha

Being fast isn't dangerous, being stupid is
You don't want to break the law on camera silly. Even the speed he bleeped out we only know how fast he was going because we read his lips
Really enjoyed this one, great editing also.
This is fantastic, the intro, the shots with the camera car in the background, the music, the Porsche. Had a big smile on my face love it.
Your shows keep getting better and better. Thank you guys for such great content!
Matt, you look terrified driving that car near the limit. Very impressive work for bringing it back in one piece.
Good times fellas! That coffee was good too:)
They should have edited in the video of the 277 trying to keep up with the GT2, lol
Awesome build. Great job.

I'm pretty sure the one shot in the beginning was ripped straight from the David Letterman episode lol
Great video so loving it . Keep it coming
Matt and Magnus... what a video!
"the only thing i'd change here is the yellow seat belt." agreed.
***** don't worry after a few months it will be black
lol Jmsbau au au
***** I'd want them the same orange as the front and rear.

Yeah, that "i can't afford to paint my bumper the right color" look doesn't really fly on a GT2.
5 point harness
I love this, conversations with cool people and cars! you should do more of this!
Long. Live. Manual.
soo much more fun than just pressing a button on the steering wheel and letting a computer take care of it.
Mark Denyer That’s another type of manual 😭😭
The GT2 will always continue to be my favorite Porsche. It's the perfect blend of Turbo and GT3, with a dash of insanity.
Pushing Top gear (UK) production standards of a show. Thanks
I absolutely LOVE this car! Thanks.
how cool would it be to talk cars with magnus, just one afternoon.
bucketlist for me
This channel is so awesome. Really, good job.
Brilliant review, really enjoyed it! 🇬🇧👍🏻

Very enjoyable video. Porsches aren't my thing but endless amount of respect for their performance figures and headline handling.

Less than 2 min in and I hit "like" cause this is flippin great. Matt rocks, and who doesn't like the dreadlock rockstar of Porsche fame.

Great idea and execution as always. I see Alex is paying tribute to Honda too - still rocking his NSX I suppose. Good stuff
It sounds absolutely heavenly
Awesome, TST Fiesta as the camera car.
I would love to have one of these one day. Yes, I am mental and love a car that is too. That's what makes them fun.
Nice job boys!!! Keep up the good work!
And get Magnus on the podcast!!
Great looking cycling road!
Love it!
Just freakin awesome
9:56=priceless LMAO. You know you're in an amazing machine when it takes you completely out of your zone and makes you giggle like a little girl.
What is the name of the windy road toward the end.
Dude is a legend.
What canyon road is this when Magnus gets out? Looks like an awesome drive.
Great attitude Magnus.
After all the Farah videos i've watched, I still laugh at his "I just scared myself a little" giggle. 9:50

Are you guys using your project focus as a camera car?
Christopher B The Project Fiesta ST is a camera car used by the TST crew.
Brilliant!
First time watching this video, and I couldn't help but laugh at the Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee spoof. Clever though! Great video.
Hi,
I find amazing the filming shoots over the mountain roads. Are they filmed with drones?
Keep up the good work.
Love the Fiesta ST camera car!
I think we need a video of Magnus and Phil Robertson
that wheel spin was real tho :))) I dont think ive seen you that scared in a car before :)).Your face in those canyons was epic
Perfect comedians in cars+coffee homage
Is it the latest manual Porsche? If not which one is, thanks.
I really want to drive this car now, Mr. Farah has really got my interests peaked this time.
Looks to me like those could be the seats
TheSmokingTire very nice car, that looked like alot of fun on the highway run. Did you get to 16 or 17 mph?
"A buck forty seven", hell yeah!
Great idea doing cars and coffee.
@ 5:40 "Don't shift, don't shift"...........I love it
what about the UGR twin turbo gallardo with 2000+hp?
or the 911 tuned to 1200+hp? (can't remember the company)
or the AMS alpha omega with 2000hp?
this video format was cool

Does anyone know what roads he was taking?
Someone PLEASE tell me what road Matt's driving? is it the Angeles Crest Highway? I'm from NY and just guessing - thanks in advance.
Matt what canyon did you guys film on??
Was this on Drive+ a while back? Either watched it before or had Deja Vu!
