"Dear Friends, I consider many Irish engines unlucky. They never had a chance to shine like our Sudrian Friends, and many are sadly no longer around to tell their tales. But there was one, who despite being the unluckiest, captured the hearts of many. You'll only see a bit of her now, but maybe in the future, you'll get to hear all about it. Enjoy:)"
i genuinely home this becomes a thing! this was a nice little snippet. i think the sounds were a bit too loud compared to the dialogue, but I still enjoyed it! when would you say this takes place?
This takes place in 1958 on a rural railway in The Midlands of Ireland I won't say where exactly in case of spoilers But I'm sure if you dug around you'd find out:)
I’ve learned quite a bit about the Tralee and Dingle after discovering T5 during my research of steamtown USA (btw extremely fascinating story that I recommend everyone eventually learns about). Very interesting little railway. 3ft narrow gauge and Irish stuff is way too overlooked.
5T is an interesting loco. I remember sitting just outside the old shed she's in. I tried my best to get a look in but could only see crates and boxes. Little did I know she was right behind them. Hopefully she'll steam again one day. And I agree Irish Narrow Gauge is seriously overlooked I hope to shed light on its stories some day
@@Tidmouth-River-Studios oh that’s pretty neat. It’s a real shame that the whole preserved railway didn’t work out from what I understand. Also, if you want any contextual information about Steamtown I can give you some basic info. Theres also this amazing video about early Steamtown ua-cam.com/video/9Qo8JmqWxLw/v-deo.htmlsi=FSzv4sG30oS1Fwwr. It’s long but it’s genuinely worth the watch if you have any free time.
@@Tidmouth-River-Studios thanks 😊 ☺️ he’s grumpy grouchy quiet pessimist but he’s got a loyal heart of gold and genuinely a good engine but pre msr years being the last engine to arrive
@@Tidmouth-River-Studios hehe thank you 😊 😊 I’ve did lots of tidbits & art of him + some characters he’s close (mainly Kyle”proteus”) I really need to get to writing more stories and posting here lmao
