When Jamaicans realize the world is much bigger than just US, UK, and Canada we will appreciate the passport more. Singapore, Korea, and Malaysia are excellent visa free places to go

Here is my experience holding a Jamaican passport while being a Permanent Resident in Canada. Travelled to Mexico using my JA passport, not much issues entering Mexico but while returning to Canada, the airline check in counter were meticulously scrutinizing my passport for some reason before I was free to leave. Fast forward two years later, travelling to Cuba for vacation, upon landing there, they pulled me over in secondary and ask a bunch of questions about if I smoke weed. Like WTF! I know it’s because of my Jamaican passport. So I made sure to apply for my Canadian citizenship immediately and now travel with both passports.
I started with Duolingo to learn the basics and then I did German classes when I came to Germany. I would say within 1-2 years I was comfortable speaking the language.
One of the greatest thing u said was we dont know anyone there. That is the main reason hinder people who want to travel but i will say stop with it and just go. I will be a life changer.

The next year i applied again, they asked why i'm just back in 25 years. I said that i was busy travelling to other countries. They gave me 10 years

I live in the UK back in the 80's i used my jamaican passport to travel all over Europe without a visa but America that was a problem. I renewed my jamaican passport 10 year's ago I've duel citizen going to i fly out on my jamaican and return on my British one. I am in the process of renewing my jamaican passport it is awful the information they want and having to get someone to sign it like a JP preacher etc. Then make an appointment to the jamaican embassy that's the best way to apply on line is awkward

The Jamaican govt really positions the nation to be very passive on the world stage. You almost never hear about us agressively advocating for anything on the world stage or passing progressive laws esp when dealing with much larger richer nations. I dont think we're ever gonna negotiate anything with the EU.

This is a misconception. Central America and the Caribbean have the highest murder rates in the world yet Jamaican passport is weaker than the regional avg. Visa free travel is granted to countries based on their diplomatic relations and foreign policy. For example, when the eastern Caribbean countries applied for a visa waiver to the schengen region, Jamaica did not apply. If you dont apply for waivers, then you wont get the benefit of visa free travel. There are more reasons too but I don't want to make this comment too long

As an Afro melanated Trini I have all two status North American and European . Wherever I can use my Trinidad passport I will without using these other first world country's document . I want to be treated like an afro melonated person off the Caribbean and want to interact with my afro melanated people of the diaspora. There is a move to subjugate our people of bring us back under the colonization / Inquisition again by these foreign entities /persons if we are not careful . We have to band together for progress for the advancement of our people .

The logistics would be a headache, eg.. a direct flight. Nonexistent... may still have to transit through a visa required country. But it's doable...

Please give me some advice on how to travel over 90 countries traveling is expensive. How do you do it? How do you cut courses and expenses?

Guyana was never the worst Guyana was always ahead of Jamaica,Haiti a whole lot of countries in Central & South America, Africa,Asia, just that it was not so easy to aquire American visa the way it's now.and there is no visa requirement for England.

As an Afro melanated Trini I have all two status North American and European . Wherever I can use my Trinidad passport I will without using these other first world country's document . I want to be treated like an afro melonated person off the Caribbean and want to interact with my afro melanated people of the diaspora. There is a move to subjugate our people of bring us back under the colonization / Inquisition again by these foreign entities /persons if we are not careful . We have to band together for progress for the advancement of our people .

Here is my experience holding a Jamaican passport while being a Permanent Resident in Canada. Travelled to Mexico using my JA passport, not much issues entering Mexico but while returning to Canada, the airline check in counter were meticulously scrutinizing my passport for some reason before I was free to leave. Fast forward two years later, travelling to Cuba for vacation, upon landing there, they pulled me over in secondary and ask a bunch of questions about if I smoke weed. Like WTF! I know it’s because of my Jamaican passport. So I made sure to apply for my Canadian citizenship immediately and now travel with both passports.
