I am installing something very similar to your set up. One question I had, when you run two separate hot/energize wires to the Stinger, could it cause problems? For example, you are running in the "key on" situation and your kid starts flipping switches. If your Zombie switch gets thrown while the stinger is already energized, would that cause any issues? I am a newbie to most of this...

No issue doing it like that & both being on. A lot of time if we are doing stop and go riding I leave zombie mode on so a I don't have to reset the radio when I turn the machine off. The 1 I would say be mindful for with kids hitting buttons is the winch being active could cause damage letting line out or damaging bumper front frame. If that's a worry for you I would add a seperate switch to activate switch that controls the winch.

Most excellent. I am running only a single battery, But bought the Stinger to feed the auxiliary fuse box, with the idea to feed the fuse box with power from the Stinger. Is this the right application ?? Secondly, Would you be kind enough to to send me a link on how you accesses the key on wire in the fuse box. I don’t want to tap the 12v power supply for Key On juice as I have an additional requirement for that.

Are u using a 5 pin switch for the Zombie...? is it on off on ? The Diagram on Honda sxs for the key on / bypass does not show exactly what pin to use for each wire.. on the rocker. they have an accessory bus bar and four red wires from the switch ....I have a 7 pin switch. Not sure if you've seen the diagram?

Sorry I missed the comment. I ended up using the Honda key on power kit due to randomly blowing fuses . You need positive in and out based on your switch layout to whatever you are activating in my case the stinger. Im using 5 pin, 2 pin would even work since its just completing a circuit. Extra pins are for illumination or sharing grounds and positives .

Buck, I “kinda” followed you but there was a heck of a lot going on. Is there a way you might be able to supply a sketch of the system with a second sketch of what‘s happening in the switch plate? Can you tell me exactly what the purpose of the stinger is? Sorry but with electricity I could use a little more clarity. It’s not your video, it’s just that I am not a sparky. Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply had some comments on this video not show up notification wise. There is more than 1 way to skin a cat, some don't run 1. The purposes or reasons I do one is depending on wiring, some extras will pull a little juice even if off, think about your car radio or stereo. A few days won't kill a battery but weeks, months, etc can depending on drain. 2nd is a little bit of a safety / control factor everything aftermarket is wired after my stinger. If anything acts up, shorts, or misses up I can kill juice at the stinger. I've done a lot of off roading & have seen this can be useful . One in particular is a winch controller miss up & the solenoid sticks & draw up through the bumper or break the cable. In this case u can't disconnect fast enough, but if u have the ability to kill power & shut it off , that's huge. Lastly it ensures u don't accidentally leave extras on, I've even added a little more since this & if I forget the stereo , heater , or something plugged in once I kill the the stinger nothing is pulling juice.
