bought a bunch of legion years ago but never played. looking to get into the game and glad there's someone out here giving updated content on the game!
Legion seems to be doing really well. Such a good game. Glad to see videos like these still coming out, very important for new players and as content for the current fanbase
Thanks I always trying to build my local community and though that if did series for new people maybe help build other communities I love the game and look like it got a good life span ahead.
Worked out nicely, just getting to my box sets after taking a little break from Armada! Starting with the empire. I saw some photos of the new stuff being released this year and the Inquisitors and range troopers got me excited to hop in.
Hey I recently got very interested in Legion because frankly I have enough of GW games and as a Prequel kid I already figured out that two Clone Wars Core sets will pretty much provide me with two Skirmish level forces wich I find pretty sweet as someone who aims to collect CIS and have GAR as a "hey friend, wanna play? I will give you clones with Obi to try the game!". I started reading about battles between Grevious and Obi, planning my future boards and overall got very excited about starting Legion in a few months.
that is good start I think bout total four but that because the last two seen on sale for 50$ and need enough for other to build my play group. If you are going to play cis I suggest getting supper tactical droid and and the droid commander box sets. box or two of magna guards. I am glad you are getting into the game have fun.
I picked up a core set and blizzard force both 50% off during black Friday at my local store been working on painting them up to play. About to get myself an airbrush to make life a bit easier and get on the table sooner.
That is great, so you are diving into Empire; the following video will be out on Monday on how to build an empire. Empire got the best plastic in the game.
How many players do you have in your area I am working hard to build the community in my area and at large because I love the game, but I live in a small town in the north of Canada with no gaming store?
Ive been noticing this game for awhile in my local store and love Star Wars but it seemed a bit intimidating to try. I definitely appreciate the input here and will be watching more of your videos.
It is a surprisingly simple game to start playing and having fun with because, for the most part, the gameplay is intuitive outside of new cover rules. But to be good at it is where the strategy comes in. It is fun at both competitive and casual levels, and what not to like when getting play war in the Star Wars universe.
It is a great Game. When it started, it was just me and my son in the area, and he would rather play PC Games, but it has blossomed into a small community of about 8 guys, and we have some other group that is aboutaboutway that come up monthly with about 8 other different fun.
Been thinking of just going into a comp to play my first game.. No better way to learn than with a bunch of great players. Found a local comp that is beginner friendly...
Just ordered the clone wars core set. I got a couple of friends who want to play with me. Pretty excited but a little overwhelmed with the painting and setting up a table ai have never done before. Also I'd rather not spend a ton of money on table environment stuff. Gonna have to be creative I think 😂
YA table, you can do a lot with a little. I made both my board and ender board from trash and some old paint, just a lot of sweat and hard work the Hoth board has all free 3d print files for the extra, but you could do without those
Thnx for making this, I am thinking about getting into Legion. Can you go into each faction and what you recommend to buy to have a starter army (800 points?)
In this playlist, I went over each faction. I am going to make a video soon on how to choose a faction. My rule is to play what you want, but Clones and Empires get the most love in new stuff. There are army boxes for each faction and 2 core boxes. I always recommend starting with one of those or both. The army boxes are all good value for what you get, but the rebel echo base is the best value.

@@LEGIONOUTPOST nah, I am just saying, as someone who is just looking to get into it I am looking for #1 a video that tells me benefits & drawbacks of each faction #2 recommends / ranks factions and tells me which boxes to get to have a starting army ready at whatever point total most pple play

it can be very strong. As a whole rebels are the second most popular unit in competitive play they seem to stay there no matter what the metta is I am a rebel player and I enjoy playing the Rogue one units supported with rebel vets and my core

that is good I feel you get better playing when play people who are better than you. Most ppl are very good at helping people learn.

Love rebels And rogue one can be fun problem is that they need a generic heavy for the path finders
