Doing some new intros. Featuring some of your videos.
D7 to Ebdim7. is the same as D7 to D7b9.. This is very common in jazz.
On Guitar it is extremely easy. Say we are making a D7 at 3rd fret..D7 usually goes to a G of some sort. Something cool happens when we change this a diminished chord.
D7 is just notes D F# A C..1 3 5 b7..
But change that D to ((D# or Eb)..
Majic happens.. It's hard to see this as a b9 chord. Any time you sharp the octave or root of domiinant 7 you're making a b9.. Wiki. Will probably discuss this.
