Out of curiosity, why the reference of Singapore prices? It is definitely not the exchange rate between JPY, USD and SGD.

Since unpasteurized sake is difficult to get overseas, what would you recommend to someone in the U.S. as a first sake to try?
That is a very tough question! What styles do you enjoy? Or is this truly a first? 🍶🍶🍶
@@KanpaiPlanet Truly a first. We drink a lot of wine, mostly dry reds, but some white. I guess balanced is the best description of what I prefer in drinks. In whiskey, a touch of sweet, but not overly sweet. Not a lot of sake options in our part of the U.S. and wanted to try and make the first experience positive.
The best way methinks is to mention some of the bottles that have caught your eye that you can get and I can let you know if you should rush out and buy them!

@@KanpaiPlanet Here is what is readily available at too local stores: Tozai Snow Mountain Junmai Nigori, Rihaku Dreamy Clouds Nigori, Shirakawago Susanigori Junmai Gingo, Joto Junmai, Joto Junmai Nigori, Hakutsuru Junmai Ginjo, Tyku Black and White, and Kikusui Snow. There are also options from California and Oregon.
