Nice I'm building a nostalgia binder myself and I started a go fund me to put together a yugioh coffee table book showing cards from 2002 to 2012 when decks were loose and destroyed and when this was mostly just a game and very few collectors like me who sucked at the game
Thank you for reading my comment and I remember 2003 when kids would want to trade card and there deck was rubberbanded together while I was opening packs to put sets together lol its come full circle

I can't believe LOB turned 20 this year. God, I remember back in middle school seeing friends playing and how cool the artwork was.
Went from a total newb that thought Duelist Kingdom was how the game was played to reguarly finishing top four at my locals.
My absolute favorite deck was this Creature Swap Control deck back during I think the first ban list. I once Swapped my Spirit Reaper for Magical Scientist, brought out 3 Dark Flare Knights and a Dark Balter, tributed Scientist for Jinzo and proceeded to smack the shit out that Reaper.

@@CasualYugiStuff People at my locals REALLY hated that deck. There were so many other different ways Creature Swap would annoy you:
1. Swap over Shining Angel, kill it to bring out Different Dimension Dragon. Now you have this nearly inpenetrable wall that can be Morphed into Dark Balter at any given time.
2. Swap over an ATK mode Goat token for your Spirit Reaper or Don Zaloog.
3. Summon Tsukuyomi, flip your monster down and proceed to Swap. Tsukuyomi returns to my hand.

Very, very nice 😎 I personally don't like to have creased or heavy play cards in my binder sets though, just because it bugs me knowing that the damage is there lol.

@@CasualYugiStuff Yeah the pack/set aesthetic is really nice! I would be concerned on how to prevent water damage though. I guess double/triple sleeving would suffice. However I did manage to pick up my first 3 slabs and gotta say it is a really cool feeling especially when they are gem mint 10s. As an investment, are collectors even looking for the full set though? Or does it just make sense to collect the nice ones in one page for storage reasons?

what kind of sleeves do u use ? im trying to make a binder but regular card sleeves are expensive for just having them on a binder
I use ultra pro regular clear sleeves and ultra pro then soft sleeves - quite a cheap solution!
@@CasualYugiStuff oh ok so which one is the small and which is the outer . So I can compare the price I saw a deal of 2 packs of dragon shields 60pc for $13 . But this seems convenient.. another question how much u think it would be that whole binder
If you type ultra pro sleeves in eBay - the ones with the dragon logo are the small and the classic soft sleeves are the large

Question what is the final og yugioh set
For me it’s Ancient Sanctuary, however many would disagree and say Flaming Eternity. However, I believe the start of GX to be Soul of the Duelist, as cards like armed dragon and Ojama king are in there which appear in the GX anime.

Hey J H! So I use ultra pro clear sleeves (Yugioh size- the ones with the little blue dragon on top) then just regular ultra pro soft sleeve! Glad you liked the video man!
