I love GIRLS' GENERATION/SNSD 💗 They're the Nation Girl Group of South Korea. They fought so many boy groups back then. They represent girl power through their group name.
Girls' Generation are still active for 16 years now and one of the iconic group in kpop. They debuted in 2007 consist of 9 girls in the group. They're now 8 members because the other member (jessica) departed in 2014. Let's not talk about how she left the group (controversial topic and it's all based rumors).
💗So the girls are:
• KIM TAEYEON (The kid leader of the group) One of the best vocalist/soloist in kpop rn. Introvert but goofy. She's known as Paper human.
• JESSICA (Jung Sooyeon) The og ice princess. She's blunt but kind hearted. She sleep a lot! She has dolphin scream. She has fashion brand called Blanc & Eclare.
• SUNNY (Lee Soonkyu) The retired Aegyo Queen. She's also SM's founder(Lee SooMan) niece. She has the sweetest voice in the grp and the sexiest (self claimed).
• TIFFANY (Stephanie Young/Hwang Miyoung) The American GF/the english speaker of the group/She's a musical actress/Tv actress, Director and Composer. You will recognized her because of her EYESMILE. She and Sica are the sassy one.
• KIM HYOYEON (DJ HYO) She's the dancing queen and also the funniest one in the grp. She has different hair color but mostly she's blonde.
• KWON YURI (The dinosaur one) She loves to cook and She's an Actress. She's next to hyoyeon for being funny. She forgot lyrics easily and choreos as well.
• CHOI SOOYOUNG (Hair flip is one of her charm) The most savage and brutal. The tallest in the grp. She eats a lot (the shikshin) and She's an Actress too.
• IM YOONA (The visual and center of the group) She teased her unnies a lot by her Aegyo. The prankster. She's the first actress in the grp. The original visual(she's the one who invented that position in kpop.)
• SEOHYUN (SEO JU-HYUN) Seobaby/the legendary maknae who knows how to play musical instrument. She's very intelligent. She adored her members so much (since she's the only child) She's an Actress. She's the quietest but the most honest.
I'm sure you gonna love them especially their characters. They're full of charms and chaos but they love us (S♡NES) so much! 😊

I'm very glad that you can poin out the emotion behind Forever 1. I will trying to explain (maybe someone already did but just in case)
Forever 1 was produced for one of the producer of their debut song (Into The New Word) so you can hear some of that song, to be specific in the bridge. Also, ITNW theme was about dreams or future careers (like pilot, owner a coffe shop, etc.) then in Forever 1 the theme was their current success careers beside be part of SNSD [Taeyeon (great singer), Sunny (famous celebrity), Tiffany (International artist), Hyoyeon (DJ), Yuri (model/actress), Sooyoung (actress), Yoona (actress) and Seohyun (actress)] So it's like celebration about that and also, for their fans. "We are Forever 1" no matter where we gone we will still "Forever 1" because that's it's part of their slong (right now, tomorrow and forever, Girls' Generation) of course, that it's original in korean but it is emotional still hehehe.
Forever 1 is a gift to their Fans to celebrate their 15th anniversary, and the mv shows what they r doing e.g. solo artist, model, movie shooting, in US (on the plane), DJ , etc
I'm not a SONE but I started being a Kpop fan since 2nd gen and I honestly cried when Girls' Generation released FOREVER 1

I am still crying every seen forever 1.this song was so emotional for us, sone and soshi. And in SMTown Hyoyeon was crying a lot when performing this on stage. We miss them a lot as soshi and singing together like this
42:00 Kenzie's magic y'all!!!! She's really good with nostalgic songs. She also produced Into The New World, their debut song. Not sure if it's the latest one but she also did Riize's Memories. She's one of the last gems in SM after YYJ left.

The girl with pink hair in "i got a boy" is called Sunny. The "perfect" blonde girl from Forever 1 is called Sooyoung and with bangs is Yoona. And yes Jessica left the group in 2014 (she was expelled, for reasons that no one knows to this day), she and Taeyeon were the main vocals.
The green-haired member is Sunny, the same person she mentioned in the boys' song. In fact, most of them are actors, and the background singing is mostly Tiffany or Seohyun, mostly Tiffany. The group consists of 9 members: Taeyeon, the leader, Tiffany, Yuri, Sunny, Soohyun, Hyohyun, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Jessica. The main voices are Taeyeon, Tiffany, Jessica, Soohyun, and Sunny: note that most of them have good voices. As for the rappers, they are Hyuhyun, Tiffany, Sooyoung, Yuri, and Yoona. The dancers are Yoona Hyuhyun and Yuri Sooyoung. Jessica left the group in 2014 because she wanted to establish her own label, which was not stipulated in her agency contract, so she was kicked out of the group. This is what the media reported, but the reason is still somewhat unknown. She is now a solo artist promoting her songs in China. Forever 1, marking SNSD’s 15th anniversary, was composed by the same guy who made their debut song “Into the New World” in 2007. So this song has so many elements from ITNW, which gets every SONE emotional hearing & watching this.
Glad you got the 140 double reference, but there's a caveat -- where they "go back to" is 1m40s NOT INCLUDING the pink bedroom intro, which is not a part of the track on the album! So, that's about 2:10 on the music video. You had the idea though, even if you couldn't show it in your reaction.

sm does a really good job at layering voices, so most of the time, they have some members sing deeper harmonies. sadly, I don't know who was doing those low harmonies in forever 1, but in aespa for example, karina and giselle do a lot of the really low harmonies
i recommend you react to f(x). many people don't know that before red velvet and aespa, sm had a girl group called f(x). they debuted in 2009 with 5 members and their songs👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Yeah its insensitive to say that to forever one. As it comebacks took very long time to happen. And one member were out at 2014, not when FOREVER ONE releases. Because when FOREVER ONE released, three member left SM but they made statements to be always be part of SNSD. Thus this song were took a long time because not all member were under SM ent.
Its so disgusting how the narrative of "taeyeon kicked" some member out is like gospel now when she barely have the power to push for her choice of a title song in her solos like have you ever heard of a massive company like SM (who split their most iconic at that time group TVXQ affecting their company stock) let some main singer make a decision that affects the whole SM holdings?
Jessica was fired by SM.
She made them think her business venture was further down the line like maybe 2-3 years from her initial "asking for permission" but they were shocked it'll be launched just right out the gate of their supposed tokyo dome high like SM did not like that. They thought she'd lie low for a few years to get the business started not capitalize on the merch of snsd's peak fame right away.
Snsd's 8 now for 10 years. Longer than the 7 years jessica was in.
They are a heavily vocal group their MVs are good but their live performances are best you should react live ones 😊
Well I would say it might be sad for Jessica to leave, but they have made their choices and it definitely wasn’t easy for anyone in the group. So it would be fair not to point fingers. They have all moved on to a better place now
