Ben should look up the whole tea on Jessica. And to be fair, it's not that we're bitter, we all know in the end it all worked out (she even posted a photo recently where allegedly she's holding the book she wrote). But as much as people want to make it as if it doesn't matter, or that Jessica shouldn't have "done" what she did, the fact is that SM and the girls handled the situation really poorly and that lead to the scandalous tea that we all know.

I remember when this song came out, there were tons of controversies. People hated it because it changes so fast and feels like several different songs mix together. Girl groups at that time were doing songs with a complete flow of melody. But when you stand on the stand stamp today, literally every group is making music like this and it has proved that how the song is ahead of its time and is pure gem. SM is always paving the way.
Same with NCT and Red Velvet today. People in 2019 just realized how amazing the 7th sense is when the song came out three years ago. And people started to love older Red Velvet songs like dumb dumb. Until now, still, not many people have the taste to appreciate Superhuman and Zimzalabim. The public is just now ready.

By pure chance I saw this back in 2013 when it won the first UA-cam Award, beating Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga--every Western pop superstar.
At the time I was amazed and impressed by the performance, the style, the originality---but then I forgot about it because in general I'd lost any interest in ANY pop music years before, so it didn't register with me as anything other than a random piece of pop-culture brilliance--I was too busy being old, and busy with 'real life' to pay any more attention than the duration of the video itself.
BUT, weirdly, at the beginning of this year, 2019, I re-'discovered' SNSD, and have been captivated by them ever since. There's a great deal of talent in K-Pop now, there has been for a while, and there are some great, currently under-rated Korean artists that predate SNSD, but they IMHO really are a foundational group for the present scale international popularity of K-pop---and although SNSD as a whole aren't active now, their influence is present and significant---and there's still reasonable hope that OT8 will return to "break the mold" once again.
