You see, he’s not the flashiest. He’s not the most athletic guy out there but you know what he will do…play hard, play smart, play the right way. Scrappy, high motor, gritty. He puts himself in the right places at the right time. 😂 But dude is actually a real good athlete. Track runner too I forgot to mention that
Eeehhh, I wouldn’t know. He didn’t play the position at all in his career so it’s kind of unknown. To sum up my thoughts, no. I think he fits best closer to the line, mainly as a slot. He can play Safety but you’d completely waste the physicality and he has the athletic ability to play closer to the line. But if there is a CB that would fit really well at Safety is Terrion Arnold. 5 star safety out of high school as well, and he plays like a Pro Bowl Safety
What do you think of Cooper DeJean as a nickel? With the massive importance of nickels in modern NFL defenses getting someone as strong and athletic as Cooper to play Nickel for the blitzes could be smart.
So I think DeJean after the film fits best at Slot/Nickel. The boundary I think can get him in trouble by going up against those shifty route runners or he gets cooked deep. But I think he fits better when there are guys to his sides (he’s got stiff hips so this helps). He’s got the athletic profile to hang with either bigger guys X WRs or in hook/curn zones.
I like the video, but you talked really fast like you were rushing through this, had to slow it to .75 and it still sounded normal for most of the video
😂 ye my bad. I’m not rushing per say, I’m just a really fast talker. I have been trying to slow down while talking, but I also have only a certain amount of time where I record. I’m at school with a roommate so it’s different than when I have my own area at home where I can record.
I honestly thought this was a Brett Kollman video. Good video though man
Shoutout Brett. The thumbnails are loosely inspired by his.
Real hard working, first one in, last one out sneaky athletic build

Cooper DeJean is the zoomer equivalent to Jason Seborn.
