Boy that brings back memories. My Grandpa farmed just north of Mode IL We,as kids spent all of our summers down there. He had this city boy take the old M to the field.Had me back up to plow.We ended up pushing plow into ditch. My Uncle restored that old M .Nice looking tractor.
You did a wonderful job restoring that "M." It's a beautiful tractor. I like the old Farmalls and also old John Deere tractors. My father primarily used John Deere with the exception on an outstanding Farmall 806. My father-in-law owned an international dealership and sold hundreds of Farmall H and M tractors, along with other models, so I am partial to both of those makes.
You sure got one great tractor for sure. I drove one on my Grandads farm back in the late 40's and early 50's. I was only about 11 or 12 years old and drove it pulling a baler as well with a v snow plow in the winter with chains on the drive wheels. It all so had a loader on the front end.
Very nice tractor
I grew up on International tractors, they look nicer with weights on the wheels, front and rear.. but this is an excellent job restoring it ...
