- Historically, flags were designed to clearly demonstrate a people's claim to a piece of land. Of course, this wasn't their only purpose, as they were used in warfare, as decorations, and other sorts of practices to represent the ideals of a people. And yes, this video is purely for entertainment purposes-do not use it for a book report or research. The trumpets heard in the transitions come from @RandyDunnTrumpet 's Royal Entrance Fanfare video.

Romania had the colours LONG before Chad did. Romania went under communism and they placed an emblem on the flag to distinguish it from the previous flag. Chad, during Romania’s communism, used the colours, but changed it a little bit idk, when Romania overthrew communism, they changed back to their ORIGINAL flag, but Chad asked if Romania would change their flag, even though Romania had the flag previously.

Nepal's flag is designed in a mountain shape. If you make it fall to the left, it looks like 2 mountains, representing the Mount Everest.
Actually Nepal took designs from an ancient hindu flag. Also, the two triangles sometimes can represent Buddhism and Hinduism. A lot of people think that and I respect it, it sounds reasonable. But, you might say, how do I know? Well I, surprisingly am Nepalese.

Here’s what I think actually happened between Romania and Chad. Romania claimed the design of it’s flag first, Romania just changed it to have a coat of arms on their flag, and Chad then had the design. Then in either 1959 or 1960, Romania wanted to change the flag back to their original design, and Chad I think actually protested that, but what they didn’t know is that Romania claimed the design first, so they actually had the rights to use the design first.

Chad was occupied by France and after it was freed it made its flag somewhat inspired by the French flag

Johnathan Mexico made the flag before Italy so in reality Italy copied Mexico
I believe the Cisalpine Republic (in Northern Italy) adopted the tricolor in 1797ish. Mexico’s flag was designed for the First Mexican Empire in 1821. Correct me if I’m wrong 😉

The Chad flag was made when we were in communist era so their were different than us but after we finnished with the communism we get to the previous flag (that which also Chad have it) but idk why Chad didn't wanted to change it
Pretty sure Chad asked Romania to change it but Romania fought hard for it so of course they said no, Chad and Romania have slightly different shades so it was kept

Yes, part 2! I'd love to see Australia and New Zealand. As a child I honestly thought Australia's flag was ours I remember the disappointment I felt when I realised we had fewer stars than them. I mean we're just so much cooler than them, we should definitely have more on our flag than anything they have on theirs. :P lol

No, when chad 🇹🇩 hained independence from france ut changed it's flag to Romania . But Romania was communist so it had a symbol but when romania was free from communism it removed the symbol. They had the same flag

Actually the flag of Denmark was the worlds first flag, so nearly everyone copied Denmark like, Sweden England Norway and Finland and lots of more.

Technically the first tricolore used was the prince's flag in 1579 by wiliam of orange, while the french used the tricolore from 1794 onwards.
