This episode on the ford fiesta tdci 1.4 diesel still having issues after changing the fuel pipe so i am changing more parts
Mark, change the O'rings on the leak off rail - they looked worn on the previous video. That will cause the fuel to leak back and give you the long start.
Told him that in the first video , glow plugs will be no different

Should've tested glow plugs with ohmn meter more accurate, and by fitting starter and battery aswell you ain't gonna know if starts ok, what actually problem was one thing at a time no? proper parts cannon! if fuel pipe had hole in it how come diesel was not leaking out
The issue with the tax on that car Paul is that the previous owner has obviously forgotten to cancel and could do so at any time to get a refund leaving the car untaxed without you knowing mate so keep checking

Mark, Great content, lots of learning. Mate the pipes were damaged any way, the starter motor didn't look all that clever anyway, and make sure the Battery's full of juice. Good luck.☺

Since 2014 it has been illegal to transfer road tax from one owner to another
As you’ve had the gearbox out is there an earth strap from the gearbox to the body.
I was going to mention that, it's worth not only checking the cable is tight, but is in good condition and clean mating surfaces

Air is getting in to fuel line somewhere to cause fuel to run back

Put a one universal one way valve on fuel line then that eliminates fuel running back Vauxhall’s used to be bad for this

The other project is coming on nicely and should not take long to sort it out now!! The Kuga is going to make a lovely family car when its all been completed! I had a diesel vauxhall astra with similar starting problem it turned out to be diesel filter housing rubber seal drawing in air
A malfunctioning coolant temperature sensor may send an incorrect “cold” signal to the ECU, tricking it into believing the engine isn't hot yet. The ECU will then adjust the fuel injection, ignition timing, and variable valve timing, further raising the engine's temperature and causing it to overheat.
Are you definitely getting power at the glow plugs? The glow plugs draw a high current and have a control unit that can go bad.
Back in the day a mate of mine used to put jump leads from from the battery to the glow plugs then quickly start the car😂
You can test the old glow plugs by putting jump leads from a 12v battery positive on the connection at the top and negative to the body of the glow plug, it shold glow cherry red. Careful not to short the wires together😅
Also the tax thing...
I repaired a car for my sister. She went to tax it but couldn't because it was already taxed. Checked on GOV website and sure enough it was taxed...RESULT 😂😂

cam shaft sensor took a year for the garage to figure it out
Did you check the fuel lines back to the tank and recheck the fuel filter for other possible ways that air could be getting into the fuel system? Any way to test the injectors (without relpacing them)?
Try sticking that long breaker bar up its exhaust real hard lol 😆
Wouldn’t be the seal on the fuel cap not sealing properly hence fuel pressure problem would it 🤔
H mark do you take fluid cap off when you pusy the pistons back
Is the fiesta self bleeding? If not you will need to crack the injectors off to get all the air out. I still think a compression test is worth doing
Youd have thought an error code would have pinged up to help out with the issue ?
Swap out the fuel pump relay. It's a common fault with playing up. Bypass it with a paper clip. Zero cost.
Check EGR valve that may cause starting problems weak fuel pump

Should of taken it to a Ford main Dealer to diagnose the fault rather than keep changing random parts

Has a few fords withe the back of the ignition switch faulty 🤷♂️
If MID says taxed it taxed. Tax stays on car till the logbook signed over. That’s why DVLA changed to Rip people off. One months tax gets paid for twice one by old owner and one by the new keeper. Fuck em don’t pay it don’t put car in your name if you get pulled over tell police you’ve just bought it they can’t do a thing
The police can have any untaxed car towed away and impounded if they choose to 🤣
You can return the original ford part in it's original packaging with your receipt for a full refund.
wont do that look at old pipe again it been clamped by somone you can see marks off grips.
Why do you get upset about some of the comments when you have invited them and as for putting the silly speech on there is really no need.
Maybe stay away from blue ford as they seem to have a habit of causing you embarrassment 😂
